  1. Today only. Looks like around 15 hours left. From Amazon with warranty according to the webpage. Link
  2. Do you have any pictures of the sub? How old is it?
  3. I have a RSW-10 sub that doesn’t power on. I’m aware of the repair option with Edwards Electonics, but this sub isn’t worth as much as the RSW-15 that most have repaired, so I’m wondering if I should consider a different route instead? Maybe a used plate or stand alone amp instead? I’m willing to wait to find something if necessary. What would you guys recommend?
  4. Lol makes sense then. They have both 18 and 21 inch MBMs listed on the site now. Thanks.
  5. The one I linked to is for a 21" driver and has the same dimensions as you listed. What’s different, if you don’t mind me asking?
  6. I assume it’s the same sub as what they just added to the website? Link
  7. Used but in good working order. Only selling because my current room requires something larger. One small mark on the top of the sub as shown in the photos. Asking $400 obo. Pics are in the linked CL listing. SOLD
  8. Current system Marantz SR7012 RF-7 ii mains (cherry) RC-64 ii center (cherry) RS-7 surrounds SVS PB12-NSD My RS-7s are not in an ideal position currently as they are wall mounted about 19ft behind the MLP. I don’t have good mounting options to bring them closer as I have a window on one side and a stairwell and center beam on the other. This is in my finished basement, 8ft ceilings. I’d like to add Atmos, but I’m not really wanting to cut into the ceiling. I’d also like to bring the surrounds closer. I was thinking about getting some RS-62s to replace the RS-7s and putting them on stands with Atmos modules on top. Then I saw the deal Adorama has on the cherry RP-280FA right now and thought I should also consider that even though they are overkill for surround use, since cost-wise it’s probably comparable. With either option, I’d try either wall mounting some Atmos modules in the front or placing the on the RF-7 ii’s, and I’d probably sell the RS-7s to help fund the upgrade. So to summarize, should I replace wall mounted RS-7s with: RS-62s on stands with Atmos modules on top, or RP-280FAs Any feedback including other options I should consider appreciated.
  9. If you change your mind are willing to explore shipping please let me know. I can supply the shipping label if you can get them boxed up appropriately. Matt
  10. I may be interested. Can you post up pics when you get a chance?

  13. I really haven't, and you make a good point. I'll try that out first since I still have some time left before I have to make a decision with the sub. Thanks.
  14. I think sending it back is the plan then, plus I probably have a better chance at picking up a deal on a used sub rather than finding a deal on the center channel. I also have a question on surrounds. It looks like the current reference surround speakers only come in black. What kind of choices are out there if I want to have cherry? I probably need to wall mount them just behind the couch (preferred), or possibly put them on stands right behind the couch. Thanks for the input. Edit: I guess I'm getting ahead of myself asking about the surrounds since they are further down the road. As for the center, this eBay listing looks like the best deal, but even though the listing says they are authorized I don't see them on the Klipsch website. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-RC-64-II-Reference-Center-Speaker-Cherry-/371010881014?pt=Speakers_Subwoofers&hash=item5661f8c5f6 So any suggestions on where to purchase the center from? Should I call ASD? What about AVS (I didn't see cherry listed on their website)?
  15. I know the feeling. We moved at the end of November and are finally getting settled in. I usually set up the music system first, right after the beds, but this time it took much longer to get it done. Hadn't moved in 20 years, so there was lots to do.I would love to hear some of the newer models. I have La Scalas and Heresy IIs. Do you have the grills or were they too beat up? They would cover the damage until you got some refinishing and repairs done. Bruce Yep, we hadn't moved in 10 years and I'm just finally getting the garage together (next up is this area). They didn't come with grills, but I'm going to order them from klipsch and try to do some minor touch ups for now.
  16. After getting a good deal on a Yamaha A3020 receiver, I decided it was time to upgrade from my KSF 8.5s and KSF-C5 speakers, as well as my KSW-150 sub. I decided to go used for the best bang for my buck, so I started looking for either KLF-20s or 30s, RF-83s, or RF-7s for mains. I ended up picking up some used RF-7IIs that were a little beat up (but at a great price) thanks to a post from joesportster in the Alerts forum. I also bought a SVS PB12-NSD shortly before purchasing the RF-7IIs. Now I need a matching RC-64II center, and I from what I've been reading and following I think may have to go ahead and buy a new one if I want one anytime soon (a used cherry seems pretty rare). I'm also questioning the sub purchase for two reasons. Purchasing a new center is pushing me above what I was originally hoping to spend on mains and the center, and I'm also wondering how good of a match it is with the RF-7IIs (I guess I already have the upgrade bug lol). So I'm leaning towards returning the sub (still in the window) and putting that money towards a center, and saving up for a future sub purchase. Also, with B-stock cherry, would it always going to be darker, or is there a chance it would be a closer match with mine since they are not new? I assume if I get A stock the center may not match initially but will eventually? Thanks. Matt And for the pics, still a lot of clean-up/setup to do, I just moved in November and still getting everything together.
  17. I have a few things listed on CL that I figured I'd post up here just in case there is any interest. The only thing I'm willing/able to ship are the KG .5s (I have the original box). Feel free to make an offer if you are interested. KSF 8.5s and KSF-C5 http://louisville.craigslist.org/ele/4350325537.html KSW-150 http://louisville.craigslist.org/ele/4349962303.html KG .5s http://louisville.craigslist.org/ele/4351878269.html
  18. I was hesitant because of the condition and the drive to Memphis, but he is moving and needed to let them go. So we settled on $700. Hopefully I grab them either Sunday or Monday. Worse case my cousin holds them for me for a bit. Thanks again for the heads up Joe!
  19. Here are some pics he just sent me. Sounds like there are 7 corners total that have damage. Also, no speaker grills. How easy is it to touch up and/or repair this? I can probably live with them being less than perfect. He's offering to take a little less as well ($900). I guess I'm posting here for a sanity check before I pull the trigger. I think this is still a great deal, correct?
  20. Congrats, that's a great deal! You better add Joesportster to your Christmas card list........... No doubt!
  21. Well looks like I just bought some speakers. He's sending pics in the morning, and sounds like he's gonna accept my offer (his asking price). Now to figure out if I can squeeze these in my sedan or not lol.
  22. He still hasn't replied to anything I've sent, but I went ahead and made an offer. Hopefully it's not a bad move, or at least he calls or texts me now that he has my number. Fingers crossed.
