The floorstanders, RF-25, have 6.5" woofers, as opposed to the rf-52 which are 5.25" woofers. I'd go with the 25's for that price, jdgr.

Stack, You don't have to set the receiver to use the preouts. Just plug the RCA's into the back of the receiver and it all happens by magic.

Another thing, Youthman, if your Line Level (RCA) connections are problematic, try your Speaker Level ( speaker wire) connections.

Youthman, Call Velodyne and see what a new amp for that sub costs. $250-$390?? If that subwoofer is functional, it's an impressive theater/musical loudspeaker! A new /refurb amp from Velodyne would have warranty. And viable connections. Good luck.

I use a velodyne DD-15 with my la scalas and I think it is spectacular.

I have an LCD front projector, the (Panasonic PT-ae700u) and I've been experiencing problems. The projector has probably got too much dust buildup in it and is exhibiting a blue cloud visible on a large portion of the right side of the projected image. Does anyone know how I would proceed to get this cleaned out?- Or, does anybody have a better idea what the problem may be? Thanks for any help you could give.

Try your "speakers" button on the front of the receiver. Make sure it's on the correct setting of " A /B / or OFF" It could be on B or OFF.

Are you using a receiver, Robelero and if so, which one?
