  1. Equipment: Sunfire tgIV, Sunfire cinema grand power amp, DVD25 H/K, FL8380 H/K cd player, RF5 mains, RC7 center, RS7 surrounds, 2x RSW12 subs, Beamax micro perforated screen, Benq pb6210 projector. Yes i know it's a room problem. to much absorption at the low frequencies! But rebuilding my room is very costly, so that's why i was thinking at the behringer!
  2. I have three dips of -10 to -15db in my frequentiespectrum at 30, 60 and 115hz Will the behringer and my audiosystem be ablo to flat that out? If yes this is my solution!
  3. For what reason a carver amp is not a good choice. Tell me? I am curieus! Also i like to say that even a sensible loudspeaker as the la scala benefits from heavy amps.
  4. I am verry happy with the rf5, total different speaker as rf3. Much much more refined. In comparison with the rf7 i founded the rf7's a little bit too boomy sounding. The rf5 was in my opiniun better then the the rf7. I can hear no difference between the tweeter of the rc7 and the tweeter of the rf5!
  5. First buy speakers then a receiver that melt with them.........
  6. Thats true but even when you listen at small volumes you benefit from having more watts. Even with sensitive speakers as klipsch!
  7. warning i did a bad explanation; from the amp you wire the + to the first speaker, from the first speaker you wire the - to the + of the second speaker and from the second speaker you wire the- to the - of the amp. So thats one channel. For the other channel you do the same! one channel is the two boxes left the other channel are the two boxes right. Hope this is clear to you. please feel free to ask if you are not sure!
  8. I would wire the rf7's in serial so you have an impedance load of 9.36Ohm wich your amplifier can handle! In paralel 1. 4 ohms will be asking for trouble! Altaugh i don't understand why you wanna connect four rf7's in front, but if you cant escape to the idee do it please in serial! So the short wire between the two boxes must go from + on the first box to - on the other box......thats serial
  9. In serial it would be rt= r1+r2 so rt= 4+4 =16ohm and that's not good. The impedance of te rf7 can go to2.8 ohm with some music so you must have very capable amp as rt =(2.8x2.8)/(2.8+2.8) = 1.4Ohm!!!!!!!!!
  10. Yes you can short wire them, but it must be parralel wiring.Since rt=(r1.r2)/(r1+r2) so rt=(16)/(8) =2Ohm Why do you want to use 4 rf7 in front?
  11. Can't reply on that one ........i live on the other side of the world, Belgium. I don't know pricing and the kind of stuff you guys have there.Sorry Mike
  12. getech, the rack is made of MDF. Do you use XLR cables to connect amp to preamp? If yes, wich ones?
  13. please put those curtains on the wall, It makes a hughe differance! I am curieus of the effect! greats mike
  14. indyklipschfan, do you use XLR to connect your TGV to your poweramp? If yes wich cables do you use. I use cheap XLR cables of 10 meters long, i am not so sure if they are so great! Also i have weak midbass, maybe this has something to do with room acoustics, anny hints? Thanks Mike
  15. seven la scalas and two thx subs must be awesome! Do you have pictures? For sides i use RS7's no backspeakers. Center RC7 is behind Microperforated screen.
  16. center RC7 is behind microperforated screen Side surrounds are RS7, no backspeakers.
