  1. I believe the concept is to combine the heritage tradition, with a modern look and functionality. Doesn’t bother me to see the knobs.
  2. Hope you guys are doing well. I thought I would start your week off by sharing a few photos of The Fives. Beautiful attention to detail in the design from the stamped metal Klipsch logo, real wood veneer, textured woven grill cloth, brushed metal rodary dials with tactile response and even down to the Indianapolis sketch on the back. Here is an unboxing, overview & several audio demos as well. I also updated the photos below with much higher quality images. Michael Buratto from Klipsch did an awesome seminar on The Fives at The HiFi Summit. Check out the video here: Excited to get these setup to hear how they sound! I’ll provide an update once I have some time with them.
  3. What’s up guys I know it’s been along time since I’ve visited the forum. Just wanted to stop by and share a good deal with you guys. Be blessed If someone needs me to go check them out they are pretty local to me https://letgo.onelink.me/O2PG/f238bc7f
  4. Could be a lot of reasons including room acoustics. Do you have acoustic treatment? Do you have a lot of hard surfaces (walls and flooring)? The speakers you have are fantastic and far from dull or boring. In fact, they are more on the lively side. If I had to guess your Pioneer might be what is holding your system back from performing like you want it.
  5. No, I did not raise the Heresy III nor the Forte III up a few feet. I have shared my opinion on this numerous times but I personally feel it is dumb to have to raise a "floor standing speaker" in order for it to sound optimal. I'm of the opinion that if they need to be raised to sound good, Klipsch should have built them taller. No offense to your setup, but I personally would not like having floor standing speakers on speaker stands in my living room setup. I feel I made a perfect judgement of the speaker based off of the speaker's performance. If I have to enhance the speaker to make it sound good, IMO, that's not a good design. Not to mention the Heresy III already do not have much bottom end and raising them off the floor would reduce it even more. In my 2ch setup, I need something with a solid bottom end as well since I do not run a sub. I realize my opinion of this is in the minority and I'm perfectly ok with that. LOL
  6. That would be fun. Definitely open to it. This issue like you say is finding the time. I stay quite busy these days. I'm flying out to MN on Monday and in April I'm flying out to AXPONA. Lots of exciting things happening with Youthman Reviews. In January, I resigned from my full-time job at One More Child (non-profit organization doing graphic design, website development, videography, video editing etc) to focus on Youthman Reviews and my website development business full-time. Thanks Bill. Likewise, I am grateful for your friendship over the years, even though we don't get to hang out much due to the distance. Notice you said, "I didn't care" "and feel he didn't." Those my friend are opinions based on your preference. I have owned over 50 pair of Klipsch speakers over the years and have A/B many of them in my 2ch setup and the RF7 III provide the best sound for my setup and for what my ears prefer. IMO, the only area the Forte III excelled over the RF7 II was in the midrange. No doubt there. The RF7 III improved the top end so even more of a difference between the Forte III and the RF7III. I'm just grateful that we have so many choices in models and brands to fit everyone's listening preferences. Yes, probably 20min away. It's certainly a small world.
  7. It's been over a year since I last did a room tour of my 7.2.4 Klipsch LaScala Home Theater Room. A lot has changed since then so I finally took the time to provide an update on my setup as I have made a lot of improvements over the past year. With this tour, I wanted to share much more detail than I've ever shared, especially in the area of the custom cabinet that my friend built. As always, my room is a continual work in progress but I am extremely pleased with how it has evolved over the past 13 years when I began building this theater room. Enjoy!
  8. Thanks @Dave1290 and @Westcoastdrums. Life has taken a new turn but it's been exciting. Looking forward to what's ahead.
  9. Thanks K5SS. I bought used gear for many, many years. So much gear, many here referred to them as Youthman Deals. If it's something you want to do, go for it! I has been a blast, I've met soooo many people, had many people over for demos. Even had one guy come over to buy a friend's Klipsch surrounds, ended up demoing my RF7 III and before he left my home, we were on the phone with a Klipsch dealer ordering them. LOL.
  10. Good to see you guys are still around. Legendary members.
  11. Just got to thinking about this great community (in particular the Home Theater thread) and thought I would stop in and say hi as this community has always been a HUGE blessing to me in my home theater journey over the past 13 years. The last 2 years has been quite the whirlwind. I used to be in the Klipsch forums every evening after work, sharing, answering questions, writing articles / reviews of my Klipsch experiences here in the forums and sharing literally thousands of photos of Klipsch photos that I have taken over the years. I began making more videos on Youtube and found it allowed me to use my creativity in a way I could not in written text. I would have never guessed in 2 years the channel would grow from 90 subscribers to currently 39,000 subscribers. I still have a passion for Klipsch and is evident by the fact that out of the 5.6 Million views on my channel, 2.9 Million of those views are from the 71 Klipsch videos I have made over the past 2 years. I do not say that to brag, but to provide some explanation as to the reason for my absence from this community. Each video takes me between 5-8hrs from start to finish. I still have a full-time job, a home business in website development and a family of 6 so my life right now is ridiculously busy. All is well though. I'm still rocking my 1980 LaScala Trio, (4) RS62II and (4) CDT-5800-C-II for Atmos in my theater room and the RF7 III for my 2ch setup in the living room. Hope everyone here is doing well. I'll try to stop by on ocassion when I can. Michael
  12. It should work fine. The RF7 III will have a smoother top end and less bright so it’s not a perfect match sonically. Not sure how obvious panning sound would be across the mismatched LCR. I would think it would be fine.
  13. @WakeJunkie and I have been best friends for the past 17 years. Last weekend we took a family vacation and while I was there, I decided to make a Home Theater Tour of his room. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
  14. That is...if they are available still. Very generous offer of you.
  15. Thx @Blackbird. I don't need them. You are about 6hrs from me but I will be in Panama City on business on July 28, 29 and 30 if anyone in Central or South Florida that would like for me to Pony Express.
  16. I made a career change in jan from a Youth Pastor to a Communications Specialist at a non-profit Christian organization where we serve hungry children, foster children, trafficked children, single moms and hurting families. I do website development, graphic design, page layout, branding, video editing etc for our company along with 4 others on our communications team. Also I have been pouring a ton of hours into my Youtube Channel which has grown from 900 subscribers to over 30,000 in just over a year. My schedule just doesn’t lend enough time to frequent the forum like I used to. I’m also active in a few Klipsch and Home Theater Facebook groups too.
  17. But I am grateful you sold me a center AND delivered it to me from the Carolinas to Florida. 😀
  18. I don’t think you are a moron at all. I love my RF7 III and they are incredible speakers. Nothing wrong with you preferring the original RF7 over the LaScalas. We all have different ears and preferences.
  19. I think that would be a KILLER system. I should be getting some JTR speakers in for review in the next month or so. Looking forward to hearing them for the first time
  20. Hmmmm...mine don't look cheap. I would contact Klipsch support.
  21. Definitely a nice Youthman deal indeed. Hate that you have to sell them.
  22. Sorry for the delay guys. I probably need to change the email address as I currently have 6440 unread email messages. I literally cannot keep up With them. As soon as an email comes then it gets buried in the pile. just getting home from seeing End Game again. 😀 location is Plant City, Fl ill shoot you both a PM
