Went to a go-kart facility in Houston last night and saw a couple interesting things, what can you tell from the poor-quality phone-picture besides the obvious? []

the only klipsch i have is the la scala so there is really no comparison, the 25 year old JBL L-100 also blew it away. however it is compariable to the Qual 11L that I bought for more than twice the money.

Hello Gary, Do you still have those LW Erath Speakers? If not what happened? Just wondering as I saw one on sale on local CL which prompted me to wonder.

if you want a pair of la scala, you could google "klipsch la scala craigslist" and it usually works to a certain extend.

I wonder why that is? by raising the front you only make the speakers face "more toward you", ie ears more in level with the tweeters. In any case I will play with the placement as recommended. Thank you all for the help!

Is the bottom of the La Scala flat or recessed? and would it sound "better" if its on a stand in level with one's ears. thank you!

CONGRATS jwcullison on getting this historical pair of La Scala II I am surprised that it did not go much higher. truthfully, how much were you prepared to pay? ; )

just drink plenty of water there are vending machines EVERYWHERE, even in remote mountain/country trails - so as long as on reminds self to keep well hydrated and knows one's limitations there should be NO problem.

given the potential historical significance of this particular pair, ie the very first pair / presented in an exhibition - i would not be surprised to see this going HIGHER than retail.
