  1. Yes, and also. So Far Away - Dire Straits
  2. Thats why I went with Pro Audio for the scaring the neighbours concept. []
  3. Ha ha, 18.406. That would make me phenomenal.
  4. Hi Woo, 2 things, 1 take it out of the Line out. Put it in the left in(white one above the Red), or 2 get a Y-cable and use both Red & White input. That'll make a difference. The Tape out is fine IMO, since you do have the adjustable crossover. If its was a dedicated 5.1 Receiver, then I'd use the sub out, or LFE out. Looks like a nice sub, someone else'll know what it is.
  5. I think its B.S!!!! I'm a Disc Jockey(File Jockey), and I get asked all the time about it. But I buy the Greatest Hits of the artists to try and cover my *** a bit. Leaving legal issues to juries is dumb, there is prolly a way around that as well, and it would be no good if you get a bunch of jurers that download as well. Dumb.
  6. Michael... If you don't mind me asking, what is it you actually do for a living??? Seems like a mechanic, or running of a garage. Am i correct?? JW
  7. Dust right down to the coils themselves.
  8. Yes, the problem you guys are having is what they call a ground loop hum. Plugging into a two prong will fix the problem, but then you are not protected by what the grounding does. You could prolly find a "cheater" from a local hardware store, or try plugging the unit into a circuit that is not on the same one as your equipment is on. Give those a try. Inconvenient I know.
  9. Sweep the floors around Klipsch speakers. DONE. [] Have a great day.
  10. [:^)] The company will hire me if I make 12,000 posts, SAWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET. I do have a bit to go but I can do it. [] If that were true, you know how many people would want to get to 12,000 posts, and I'd have to wait til you had a facility in Alaska to get in. Have a great day.
  11. No particular build in mind right at this point. But it is really nice to understand the thought behind the multiple woofer designs. Dual vs. single. Music or movies. Thx. If there is more thoughts or opinions , keep them coming.
  12. Hi all, I have a question about moving air. Is it better to use (2) 6.5" woofers vs. (1) 12", or another example... (2) 8" woofers vs. (1) 15" woofer. And giving that the response for each speaker enclosure has the same low frequncy response. Whats your opinions about this? Thx
  13. No, thats cuz they can't get past the whomph of the Elgandhi Monster of subwoooofers/end table. They will need something bigger...hmmmm.[*-)]
  14. Best Buy is a dealer for the Synergy series. Your Welcome.
  15. No, it is both speakers. I have thought about trying another source for the tuner, and that is a good idea. Only thing is, it doesn't happen on every frequency band. Mostly the upper ones.
  16. I am using 14ga. wire. I have 12ga. will be trying that but don't expect an improvement. The tin foil didn't help either. I have unplugged everything else that would be on this circuit even, and still no difference. Thanks for the tips, keep em coming. []
  17. I'll give that a shot, Islander. Thanks
  18. Thanks guys for the help, nothing seems to be helping, it may be something in the apt. building that is doing it, thought there would be some kind of filter i could purchase, but different antennas aren't helping, I've tried just about anything except ones you'd see from pennsylvania...lol. Still hearing the high pitched ring.
  19. That depends on a lot of things, like what are your room acoustics like??? What kind of sound would you prefer?? If you were to ask me, RF62 VS. F2??? I had the same problem, 1 was 1 place, the other another. I went with the RF62!!! And I Love them, they are awesome!!! Very clear in the low and high end. I found the F2's boomy, and the high end whispy. They turned them up and the tweeter seemed to rattle, or have a rattle noise. It was audable anyways, and I have a subwoofer so I didn't need the boomy sound the F2's gave off. Just my opinion.
  20. Thanks everyone for thier thoughts, keep them coming. Even stories are great. As of right now, I do not have mice in them but hoping to hear some stories are giving me an idea of what can occur. These forums are great, thanks for the welcome. []
  21. HA ha ha, your kidding...right??? Good one. LMAO Big Time. [^o)]
  22. Has anyone ever had a mouse make a house through the ports of their speakers?? Its a question that I've wanted to know, has not happened to me, but it would be kinda comfortable in there considering the damping material and such, that is until you PLAY 'em. Would like some thoughts on this. Thanks.
  23. The receiver does not have a switchable de-emphasis. As for the coax with an alligator clip, it works better believe it or not, but not accross the entire FM band, mostly in the centre 100MHz. Thanks for the help.
