  1. Cannot recall now, seems like there is. Been wrong before so...lol this was back in 69 so...
  2. Only saw him one time, it was local at The Moon in Tally, me and another big fan, the oyster champ. His 2 daughters were playing with him. It was around 2005...went backstage and spoke with his daughters. Beautiful and talented young ladies. He played with everyone from Clapton to Harrison, as you know. It was great watching him play the piano to Hummingbird, etc... Like Carney lp and with Marc Benno, and just remembered bud has a bunch of lp's of his...
  3. For sure...used to be able to ride along the beach from Daytona down to there in the old days. I keep forgetting you spent time in area. Been a few years for me so...thanks, may go back to area sooner than later.
  4. Lol, yes you almost have to be a true fan to know of it. Great body of work...just the tip...
  5. Good luck with sale! Happy to see you posting. Right upstanding member and great to deal with. Will not last long!
  6. Pour me another cup of coffee, for it is the best in the land... And put another nickel in the jukebox, and play that truck driving man:
  7. South Beach, Daytona a crowd, Ormond Beach, Flagler, thinner but very nice.
  8. That has been my experience as well with ones mentioned except for PCB and Mexico Beach which have stayed at them all. Condos in PCB in season, out of season. Fine restaurants, all of them. Seafood...yum. You can see Mexico Beach from the end of the Cape peninsula I mentioned. Beaches are the B-52 for me. Watchout for raccoons, lol
  9. Just watchout for black fly season, they will eat you alive. Installed a Gilat system there in 2000 and had to work fast. Alligator Point is cool too but, the east end is the same only larger type of biting flies. Beautiful Beach and Lighthouse at St George...
  10. Lol, yes that is a nightmare scenario. The places I have been for instance the Cape on the gulf I mentioned where the cabins are, is St. Joseph State Park, named after a Stoneman fellow, has wilderness camping high on a ridge, and other places there. The peninsula is approx. 17 miles around from the cabins, with trails and signs to inland. Did a dayhike with my LF awhile back. It was nice. She decided to go wading in the water with her shoes against my advice. Put them back on and well, she had blisters for a couple of weeks after. Had a full moon as it was darkthirty when we slowly arrived back to path of cabin. Not exactly roughing it as a TV and A/C awaited us. Have seen herds of deer, some bathing in the salt water, bayside. Other places around here, along the coast is nice, all the way and beyond PCBeach. We are blessed with state parks along the panhandle.
  11. Have thought of a roof over like on the deck here. Instant shade over a tent, like the one recc'ed here up top. Grab your icechest and cell, sitting in your folding chair with ventilation. Can picture it now. Oh, and my camera. If near a lake or salt body of water, some wind to be expected, at times.
  12. That is what I was trying to avoid...lol. No, whine until it is time. Bring deodorant, lol. Good advice! Coffee, I can figure out. Going to double my water capacity though...scary...lol Fun in the shade...lol
  13. Funny how I have not posted this myself. Actually may have. Walk around sometime sing it to myself and others. Their version of Ring Of Fire a real fav... oh and I am left handed too. As for reception, carry my own uplink...not a BP though...lol
  14. Looked at some power converters for camping Looking like an 800 watt may do the trick. Thought about a deep cycle battery as well, just in case. A modified sine wave but, if it can power TV's and desktops, 60 hz should not present a big problem. Still reviewing similar on Amazon.
  15. Wow, nighttime is the right time for me...cool I can handle. Thanks!
  16. For a romantic interlude, may I suggest an excellent Pink:
  17. Worth showing again...nice rack...Carver indeed. Like the LP also.
  18. A lot of good replies, one and all. Was up in the wee hours with a loved one so, will be back later to better address. Recently in a thread I haunt remarked that instead of hovering inside during the heat, going to endeavor to embrace the heat as, the out of doors is so necessary for a full and rewarding life, as I used to do. Florida, especially the coast, another place I haunted. Sun umbrella blowing down the beach in the wind. Great fun.
  19. Lol, cheers to you. Yes maybe the commercial/pro bug has gotten you. Who can say. Tell you, that area and central is hot. Say some pro Heresy for real 3 way. They are ported so, you may not need a bass in you space for these. Let you decide since, you have to live with them, of course. Maybe you can get some 362's or the one just spoke of. If you already know, excuse me. Forgot the model but 350's or something. You will find out here by other members. And others. These were in decent condition. That is right! You know and great job on the 904's They look reasonable somehow. Like black alright myself. Or, here comes your walnut Heresies, lol.
  20. Thanks, yes those are good for the walking around. Had not thought of it. Could fill it with white vinegar and have dog, bear and bull defense too! Or drink it with cubes...I like it. Speaking of Coleman, have a couple of lanterns, stove, and propane in storage here. Just not into the hassle, since abit green nowadays. Matter of fact, have a unopened new tent here on wheels but, probably an 8 man and, a hassle. Just a thing is, we got used to just doing the state cabin thing at Cape San Blas. Nice an convenient with ac of course. I hear you. That too...lol! In case of sun prostration...
  21. LF bought a Coleman sun shelter for the deck. After 2 or 3 other brands which did not last, the Coleman frame looks like it will be here for awhile. Good design and quality. Quick and easy, that is what am looking for. I will look into it, wherever sold. There is a Target here also as well as Outdoor Shoppe, etc. Thank you!
  22. Hello fellow campers, Just thinking about trying some camping out again. Been awhile so, thinking Wal-Mart for convenience if, I can find anyone there to help. So, thinking about a one man tent type with easy setup and an dc to ac power converter to provide power for my old school computer. Maybe a newer type of light, batter or recharge. Water, I have covered, along with ice cooler used along with ice. Bugspray, I will figure out. Thinking something without DEET, and citrus. Cooling can be provided by ac in wagon. Cig lighters working so, though I saw in passing somewhere a new or old idea product that may or not be battery operated for keeping cool in a small space. Do have a working Sharper Edge product you put around your neck which works fairly well, especially with ice water for abit. So mainly, wondering about the converter, and it's capabilities. This idea has just came upon me so, any thoughts welcomed, of course. Will reply to any ideas. Thanks, Billy
  23. Welcome to the forum! Location and pics for a start. Thanks!
