amp on last, off first is the way i do it..... I do mine just like gnatnoop. It is my understanding you never turn a tube amp on without the preamp on first.

I tried to trade him my Rosewood Khorns for them but after exchanging pics I never heard back. We will see what happens after the auction.

It sure looks like these Khorns are going to bring big money if winning bidder pays for them !

Different rooms and different preamps. One was just a fuse, another had to go to the tech and the other is the Pcat and is just the heatsink. It was just odd that it had always been the left.

You know it is very odd but I have had very small issues with 3 different sets of monoblocks and it has always been the left amp that went down

At this point I dont get to listen to them for much over an hour at a time and havent had the problem again. They are so beautiful and new to me that I cant force myself to drill holes in the base just yet. I am simply going to remove the bottom covers for now as some others have done and I believe that will solve the issue. Down the road when the newness wears off I will do the permanent mod.

I lust for a pair of these but I have only been able to find one set but they were not in very good condition.
