    He's down to 300 now
  2. This kind of damage is typically not from the drivers. Large sorting facilities are largely automated with conveyor belts , chutes and drops. This is very unfortunate and a reminder to insure used items for the original cost of the item if possible. Hope you get this resolved quickly as it can be a pain in the ***.

  4. Those have been listed for about a month now.
  5. I was very tempted to buy these so I'm glad they sold. I liked my rs 7s better than the current 62s I have.
  6. That's good to hear, I'll be enjoying the khorns for years to come.
  7. For those interested, Derek was great to work with when I bought his previous offerings. How's the knee doing after surgery?
  8. How do they sound.Nic, they sound pretty dang good, imaging isn't spot on as I'm use to. In General the sound stage is large and cohesive but not pin point. The low end is incredible. I need to finish the theatre room, I've got some AT material coming for a 130" 2.4 screen. Once that's done I will focus on new XOs from ALK, fastrac horn and a tube front end for the khorns. I will also most likely replace my current turntable. I sold the rf5s and will most likely sell the la scalas to fund khorn upgrades , I'm still unsure about what to do with the la scalas.
  9. Don't worry, the tops are protected. These replaced a pair of la scalas, I haven't found a New place for them yet.
  10. I have the custom center now. I would now prefer another standard RF 7 given the New direction the theatre is going. I had rf5s for years until recently selling them. I will only echo the replies of other members, do what you can to get a RC 7 or if possible another rf5. The rf5 is a gem amongst it's larger siblings. It was very difficult to sell them.
  11. Sometimes I want to email folks on CL with "bwahahahaha....good luck with you sale"
  12. Demos at your place? If I didn't hate tolls so much I'd be interested in hearing them.
  13. I'll keep my eyes open. I would prefer to keep the la scalas and sell/trade the rf5s to fund the amp. Thanks for the info.
  14. Thanks for the input Russ, I am hesitant about them being noisy.
  15. Anyone know much about them? Would they match well with khorns? Would trading la scalas for them be a fair trade? The heathkits have been reworked with New caps and resistors. What other tube amps should I be looking at? I'm hoping to trade either the la scalas or rf5s or some amp heads for a tube stereo setup.
  16. Congrats, good weekend for a couple of us. 13 hour round trip for me picking up the khorns.
  17. Once I'm able to get my hands on them and make a decision if they work in 1 of the rooms I have I will give more info about the rf5s or la scalas. I'm in eastern Iowa.
  18. funds sent. Now, anyone interested in la scalas or RF 5s?
  19. Is there a difference between this and the A/4500 b&k sells? They look the same.
  20. It was good to meet with gorm the other night. There should be no hesitation dealing with him. Thanks for showing me around the other night gorm.
