Warm here....should take the Bubble for a top down spin.  Experimenting on car window cleaning recently.  First alcohol and water.  Next vinegar and distilled water.  Third 2 drops of Dawn and distilled water.  Microfiber cloth with each.  Happiest with #3 but now I read they make a waffle microfiber cloth that's better.  Saw a guy on youtube use a clay bar on the windows so I may try that as I already have a few😑

Want to play with my new preamp but it resides at my house and I don't.  The house share person stays up till two and sleeps till 11am😙  Well at least I can look at a photo of it........

Bon ami works great on stubborn glass stains.

Should not scratch glass but just in case test in a inconspicuous area.

  2. I was looking for a good Ted Nugent Dog eat dog video last post but all were kinda sad. Saw Aerosmith open for Ted in 86 I believe, luckily Ted saved the show after Aerosmith's less than stellar opening performance.

I use a refreshed Marantz 7T, love its flexibility and great sound.  depending on your budget, the rest of your system and deasired feature set, you might consider a vintage piece.  more info helps people give you better advice.  T

Already tried the used route. Never again after my experience.

Probably going with the Parasound P6, need to save a bit more$$$

I had CT-125's. They were pretty flat and worked well in a Heresy as a drop in. But when I put them in LaScalas, I had to drop the K55/K400 by another 3 db and cut the Cap value in half to compensate. Did this by ear, long before I became such a Curving Freak as I am now. 20 years goes by fast in this hobby.

Dropped mine 2. Besides the poor fit and extra work the 125's are decent to my ears and measurements.

I was  wondering which of the  K43  or the k33 are  used in the KPT-MCM  series    , or is it none of the above and klipsch now use the K-45   The cinema brochure does not state     which woofer model is used  by klipsch for  the KPT-1515-LF  -

As far as  the new K33E Part #121501. it is the current replacement for  k33 round or square magnet  and the K43 -

Highly doubt a pair of K33 could withstand 90+ Volts.

I had no problem on my '89 LS, the y fit just fine. My older son had bought the APT50 and the 150 horn for a project of his own, but gifted them to me. That's why I have those in the baffles on top. I sold the original ones I had purchased from Bob C., and the K77s.

I kept a set of square magnet K77's.

    Fried but clean.

    Jason -

now I understand why @Marvel    mounted the tweeter on top of his cabinet ---the space is quite tight in that area ,---and you have to take out the K400 then route a rounded  section of the wood  to clear the top pf the magnet  -easier to simply fit them on a bracket on top of the speakers -

-I have 2 CT125's but I've never tried to fit in my LSI speakers (  I also have about 6 or 8 APT50's  older versions with the Eminence horn --- brand new  , I love these tweeter's sound , very simple upgrades to EV speakers    )

I was worried about burning the finish.

The Squawker has to be removed, it is tight in there.
