I know as Roy has said so to me himself, but I would differentiate Pauls designs as Heritage and others that
Paul had his hands in such as Chorus, Forte', and Quartet as "Extended Heritage", NOT Heritage. Agree with Budman that "Heritage" means the Big 5.

    Roger

I have always thought of it this exact same way.

I own extended heritage Chorus II's Forte's and Forte II's

Title on topic is Pissed off about Heritage....got to say why would this piss you off?

Man...... there is a lot of things in life to piss you off....but this

  2. I found when I was disappointed with how my speakers sounded ...It is generally the source. Upgraded a pair of Chorus II's a while back ...thought the bass was lifeless...2 channel with out sub. Change from Integra 80.3 to Anthem AVM 60...couldn't believe how much low end I was missing.....same source Integra 80.3 different room...different set of Chorus II's which are completely stock.

Sounded the same bass was lifeless ...with out sub...Changed to 2 channel Yamaha MX amp / C-70 preamp...no longer need sub...Unbelievable difference... Conclusion..Integra 80.3 sucks for 2 channel listening.

You should see the video of Dtel's wife chasing the chickens around the farm with a hatchet, now that is special.

Well we are waiting to see that one.

There was a time, many years ago when people were friendly and helpful on this forum.  No longer does this seem to be the case.

What I was trying to say is that Captain Cecca will shake a martini 100 times and then the blue cheese olives would go in, only to be thrown down at "Warp Speed"

I think this thread is starting to go adrift, which might actually be a good thing. Maybe a lockdown, that way @Chief bonehead wouldn't have to get grilled with the same monotonous questions. Now if he could illustrate (draw) the difference between a Carolina rig and Texas rig, AND provide some insight as to which knot is stronger and gives a better presentation, I and others would love to see and hear the results from an engineering standpoint

Yes ...I think it time to lock this down

Can you send over a set of forte III? This will be for scientific evaluation against the forte I and Chorus II.

All documentation that I have from my pair purchased in 1992 shows a bottom response of 32HZ.  As well as documentation on the Klipsch website.  I believe that the new forte III will probably become the most popular, best selling speaker in the current Heritage/Extended Heritage lineup.  However at $3,600 a pair, I will stick with my modified II's.  Upgraded mid and tweeter diaphragms to titanium and put in a Crites made band pass rollover between squawker and tweeter.  So, INMHO pretty darn close to a Forte III, along with a better low end.

Or you could always hop on 14 head northwest about 4 miles and hear my wife's pair....

You say that now.....I thought the same thing at first....I can just rotate from any one of the 4 sets of Forte's I have ...but you will just have to go for it....Just start saving now

Maybe give a pair to your wife for her birthday....Yea that's it...It ...could ...work

you have to go to your local glass place and have them cut it

i took my k-horn top to my local car glass place and he came out to my van with a sheet of paper and a pencil and draped it over the top and marked all the edges and then cut it to size. thinking 50 bucks each way back in the 80's

    + 1 to that.....

Just had 4 sets of glass tops made 2 sets for Fort'es and 2 for Chorus II's...I did not get black ...went with clear paid extra for polished edges...Forte's went for $ 20.00 each Chorus II"s $28.00 each...Black would have been double.
