And the eating right before your eyes is if you are lucky. The next worse thing is the acid paricials get into the air steam, and cause all kinds of breathing issues. All joking aside, it has been noted by several techs, including my self, the the improper use of coil cleaning concentrate, especially when it has not been properly cleaned off will cause the vapors to rise and settle into the blower motor. Once this happens, it will eat away a the stater coil in side the blower fan motor and cause it to burn out. Some home owners have been known to get hold of coil cleaning products, but if you have not been properly trained, I highly recomend having someone either comb to you home and perform a cleaning, or clean the coil using a mild soap, and througly rinsing the coil, taking care not to bend the fins. If you bend the fins, use a come to open them back up. Bent fins cause resistance to the air stream, and prevent the evaporator coil from exchanging heat from the air to the refrigerant inside the coil.

Does anyone have any ideas about placing lights inline along the speaker wire connection ( between the amp and the speaker) that would pulsate with the bass, however not cause any distortion to the signal going from the light to the speaker?

I have owned several garmin gps, and never had any problems, unless I run one over, at anyrate, you can pick up a great deal of interfearance with the reciever with all of those devices arround. If the problem persists after you leave the are of interfearance, then you need to contact Garmin Customer service.

You are probably right, but I work for the guy, so 50 hours a week is hard lessen.

EMP interfearance, do you have any electrical pannels, recivers/transmitters, microwaves, computers, or the like near the speakers. These things will cause the diaphrams, rather the copper coils inside the diaphriams to move slighly causing the driver to produce a buzzing sound. Incidently the frequency of the EMP pulse will match the frequency of distortion that arrises from the buzzing of the speakers.

Perhaps you need speaker wire, I have some.

Very powerful movie, alot of expected turns, and real worldness, for lack of a better word.

The square size of the room is fine, granted you have things withing the room along the wall (like bookshelves) to abosorb the base, other wise you will get some resenance. The otherthing, what is the celing height, and is the room sloped? Is the room well insulated? As far as distance from the speaker, six foot is fine for nearfield listening, and I have seen closer listening enviroments even closer to the Khorns.

I have put together several crossovers, and hooked up many drivers myself, but what you discribe is difficult for me to see in my head, is there anyway that you could send a picture. I would then take this picture, and edit it with an explantion of the various componants, and how they go together.

I would go ahead and change out the caps, and the wiring withing the cross over. After that I would begin moving to the wiring with from the cross over to the drivers and see what happens.
