  3. We have one of them, with 2 Klipsch Heresys (origionals not 2's) and 2 Fisher STV-873's for more bass. I was wondering if anyone has one of these and could tell me a few things. My grandfather bought it and the Heresys like 20-30 years ago. I need to know how many watts it puts out. And whether or not its a good Amp. ( It seems VERY nice to me ) Theres a A and B switch on it. I have the Heresys hooked up to the A and the Fishers hooked up to the B. I keep the Bass settings set to +1 and some times all the way up to +5. Is there any chance of me hurting the Heresys or my Fishers? I never turn the system up past half way because thats just to friggen loud. And only got it all the way up once.... boy was that loud... never will I need to do that again. Fishers have a wattage handling of 100watts. And 8ohms. Heresys.. I am not sure.. Any one know? ------------------ K6-2 450 SB Live Value ( not 5.1) Klipsch Pro Media v2 400 ( soon to be 4.1 ) 2 Fisher STV-873's on front channel 2 Fisher surrounds on rear channel

  8. I am going to be upgrading a pair of old Fisher STV-873's. 3 way Floor standing. With 10 inch woofers. I wanna take the 2 10 inch woofers and make a box for them and use it has a subwoofer. Now, I was wondering if it would hurt the speakers to be across from each other. I know thats how they are on the Pro Media 4.1's sub... but I'm not sure if Klipsch did something special to them. I wann have a sub _______ here >/ /< and here _____ ------------------ K6-2 450 SB Live Value ( not 5.1) Klipsch Pro Media v2 400 ( soon to be 4.1 ) 2 Fisher STV-873's on front channel 2 Fisher surrounds on rear channel

  16. I'm completely understanding what you are getting at... You have a V shaped desk, I'm guessing its in the corner of your room. Do you have any where to put the rear speaker? Desk, shelves, ect? What about the Front speakers. Where can you put them? Just on the desk? or do you have small shelve things there? anything like that? If you dont have anywhere you can put your rear speakers, I would suggest you buy a pair of Speaker Stands, or Wall mounts. As for your Front speakers, On your desk should be fine... but I personaly dont like them that close to me. I would mount the front speakers up in the corner. Sidewayz, so you can control which way they point, UP and Down , instead of left and right. Then point them down twards you, and that should work fine. Could you give me the dimentions of your room? And where the Major things are in there. Desk, beds, Shelves, Dressers, ect. And if you wanted, I could draw some possible setups. ------------------ K6-2 450 SB Live Value ( not 5.1) Klipsch Pro Media v2 400 ( soon to be 4.1 ) 2 Fisher STV-873's on front channel 2 Fisher surrounds on rear channel

  20. Oh yea. Yes, you will be able to use the Radeon to watch Movies on your TV, and then use your SoundBlaster to output the sound to your speakers. I use a Hollywood Plus Decoder Card, ( VERY good) http://www.sigmadesigns.com/products/hollywood_plus.html And use my Pro Medias still. ------------------ K6-2 450 SB Live Value ( not 5.1) Klipsch Pro Media v2 400 ( soon to be 4.1 ) 2 Fisher STV-873's on front channel 2 Fisher surrounds on rear channel
  21. Corey here are some other sites you can look at. www.firingsquad.com www.sharkyextreme.com each of them will have reviews of the ATI Radeon and the ATI Radeon All in Wonder. The ATI Radeon is a powerful 3D accelerator. And a good DVD decoder. As a 3D accelerator it falls short of the GeForce 2 GTS, and any GeForce 3 board. As a Decoder card, its a very descent decoder, ATI has always been good at that sort of thing. The ATI all in wonder will give you TV out, TV in I believe, and many other nifty things. And will still run your games well. But it will cost you, to have all those extra features. ------------------ K6-2 450 SB Live Value ( not 5.1) Klipsch Pro Media v2 400 ( soon to be 4.1 ) 2 Fisher STV-873's on front channel 2 Fisher surrounds on rear channel

What exactly is Polypropylene? Do you have any ideas for me? Any speakers you like and think I should get? This would cost me nearly 300 dollers for all the speakers. For that Price I could buy a pair of Paradigm Titans that I've had my eye on. I already have a 10 or 12 inch woofer thats already on the Fisher speaker that I think I'll keep on for extra bass.
