  2. Look forward to meeting you, Shaun. I used to run the Chorus with a Yamaha M-65 (170 wpc). Love the old Yammy M-series gear. If I were in the market, I'd be looking into a Yamaha M-80 to run these with. Just my personal preference of course. When you come to pick them up, I will have em' hooked up to a little Yamaha integrated for you to demo. They are gonna knock your socks off Matt
  3. Yes, the finished motorboard really brings beauty to an otherwise drab speaker. So much so that it makes it difficult to put the grills on. The car should be out of ICU by Friday. That money is already budgeted and it is time to start enjoying er'. Can't wait to drive "Little Miss Sunshine" into the beautiful sunset. However, it won't be long, I will find something she HAS to have. I am torn about putting side exhaust headers with the massive 4" collectors on? 12. Yes, that is correct. My wireless "network" for my internet connection then from the laptop to stereo via the NAD transmitter/receiver/DAC. If I hook my laptop directly (using onboard DAC) it sounds much better than the NAD. Just seems odd to me that the SQ has diminished with the NAD? 13. My computer sits near my listening position and I use an NAD DAC1 to shoot the signal to a DAC receiver at my rig. In the beginning it sounded very nice. However, over time it seems the sound quality has began to deteriorate. I know it is the DAC because I have made comparisons with and without NAD unit as source. Don't want to spend the money on the NAD DAC2 with the fear it may ultimately succumb to the same demise. Any suggestions for alternative wireless DAC? Thanks, Matt ♪ ♫ ♪

  16. It has been brought to my attention by a few others that there may be some misunderstanding in my reason for putting these prized possessions up for sale. The number one and ONLY reason for the sale is to help fund my child hood dream of a classic 1972 Corvette Roadster. The incredible Tool Shed amps are not the only items being sacrificed. Next on the block are my much loved Cherry La Scala's. The Chorus will likely be brought into duty along with a Yamaha A-S500 integrated. This will get me by until I can begin rebuilding my 2 channel system back to its current state, once the car is attained. I am hard working blue collar and this will be the largest cash layout I have ever attempted. No loans on this one. It is not just my audio equipment heading to the sale barn.
