  1. Fabulous! Thank you all VERY MUCH will "daisy" with some splitters...
  2. It would be running from the main sub, a Paradigm PW2200 to a feed a Klipsch RW-12. Both run lower than 80. Is the HIGH PASS more than just the signal? I do have a couple of splitters but was hoping they would not be necessary. I just don't want to damage a brand new Bash amp in the RW. Or the Paradigm amp for that matter. Thanks
  3. Thank you "aspro" - If I turn the crossover freq. up it becomes VERY unpleasant and creates a horrible "rumble" with even the slightest source of low frequency, Rock and Roll my friend ♪ ♫ ♪ - Greetings from BoCoMo - welcome to the Forum
  4. Just to be SURE! Is it OK to feed another sub with the "HIGH PASS OUTPUT" ? Thank you ♪ ♫ ♪

  6. the sale was ending so I had to pull the trigger. Not bad, $185 invested for a good solid sub. Going to take a small carpentry mod to fit. Kind of excited to see how it sounds compared to my Paradigm earth mover. Heck, might even run em' both The neighbors already dislike me, what the hay.. ♪ ♫ ♪
  7. I have read some excellent reviews of them. Mostly all 5 star Seemed like the economical choice, only $125 shipped...

  10. Did it blow the second fuse? Or neither the first or second was blown? Second fuse?
  11. I am thinking to just mod it with this??? It will require a small cabinet alteration but doable. http://www.parts-express.com/bash-300s-digital-subwoofer-plate-amplifier-300w-rms--300-750
  12. Well, I put a new fuse in. Still no power...
  13. Oh GEEZE I see it now. Did not even have to take the plate off. Thank you!!! (a little blushed)
  14. I pulled the amp and checked all connections, looked for anything obvious. Checked the power cord on another piece of equipment. There are no fuses. Unfortunately I left my multi-meter on the bench at work so I could not test further. I believe a simple remedy is out the window. ...at 60 bucks I thought it was worth a shot
  15. Would this work? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-SW-450-Pre-Amp-Amplifier-for-Powered-Subwoofer-Tested-/291177893110?pt=US_Home_Audio_Amplifiers_Preamps&hash=item43cb8e0cf6 Just by-pass the digital controls. 16. Picked up this sub from CL for a mere $60. It does not operate. Little details from seller other than he moved and now it does not work. Hooked it up, no lights or sound. Where do I start to isolate the problem?

  19. So a friend brought his bike over for me to work on. As we were working on it together he says, "man that sounds really good, clear". I turned it up a little and he was in heaven After a bit we took a break... I put in a Dave Matthews disc and he did not really notice that my main system was not even on. Again he commented on the sound, and of course the massive size and beauty of the speakers. Still, I had not informed him of the obvious. The little system is for morning radio listening. 15 wpc Onkyo mini, pair of Quintet II's and an SW 8 II. At this point I let my friend in on the fun I was having with him. SO, YOU WANT TO HEAR THE BIG BOYS I turned on the Rotel's and let the Scala's have it!!! My Buddy was absolutely blown away and amazed, to put it lightly. He could not decide if he was more impressed with the Scala's or the Quint's for the satellites are so minimal. Speechless he remained. Reminds me of that old Memorex print ad... 22. my experience: Thought I had purchased my last speaker for a very long time, the RF-7. A couple of years later, by chance, I came across a pair of Forte II's from a friend that needed a little work. I got the Forte's all fixed up and was quite delighted by the sound. In short, the 7's began to collect dust and I sold them. 2 short months of listening to the Forte's brought me to seek out the Scala. The Heritage line is much more desirable, IMO. I hope you get them and have as delightful experience as I ♪ ♫ ♪
  23. Yeah Joe - love dem' big blue meters. A while back I made my own meter panel with parts ordered from China. Was pretty cool but my system has gone through some drastic changes since then. Links below, for some reason I could not copy and paste the image??? OK, the bucket worked...
  24. would a pair of these suffice for a little pair of Scala's?
