  1. Aye, Big Balsawood, yurin' sure is missed lass! You give a good comic to an old bones like me BTY Me 4.1 are a playing very, very, very outstanding! Midnight Oil sounds very good This message has been edited by clandeggen on 03-14-2002 at 09:49 PM
  2. I like the K.I.S.S. in the Klipsch. I bought them for what they are, Speakers and Amp. If you want DTS, Dolby Pro Logic ect.ect..ect.... Get a sound card that does all that and let the Amp and Speakers do its job
  3. If you have Win98, run msconfig and shut off some programs running in the back ground. Its a bunch of programs that is running at the same time that slows your computer down, not what is on your hard drive. One other thing you can do is the Ctr-Alt-Delete ond turn every thing off, except( Important!)-systray and explore and you'll see a big improvement This message has been edited by clandeggen on 02-14-2002 at 10:09 PM
  4. But anyway, I had the same problem as you did with certain freqs. This may sound stupid, but with me, it was the sound reverbriating all the clutter on my desk! I cleaned up my desk and the annoying crap went away. Beleive me, I freaked out at first, sounded like it came from the speaker, did some hunting around to get a "FIX", found out it was my loose change and car keys on my desk. Ive keeped my desk cleaned and have no annoying buss at all. For me it was a DUH!
  5. I bought mine last Sept. listen to them every day and they work mighty fine BTY JohnAcres, the Sants Cruz is a 4.1 sound card, you should have a Green and Purple output jack. The green is for your front and the purple the rear.
  6. My 4.1s works Great and sound good, had em for about 6 months. Whats the Beef? You cannot confirm that mine works, but I cannot confirm you went at a bad go of it. Or are you just the compitition and just bad mouthing? But again I cannot confirm it and you cannot disprove it. BTY Big Busa, I notice yer from Up State NY, I grew up in Binghamton NY. 7. The capacitors on the DC side of the power supply will not hurt you ( unless it is the high voltage in a TV set or Transmitter ), What bit you was the AC, nasty stuff to be playing with.
  8. Sounds like you got the BS shuffle to me, what did you exspect? I really don't think High-End Audio Engineers defected to Logitech overnight. Maby I'm wrong. This message has been edited by clandeggen on 10-19-2001 at 10:40 PM
  9. Anyone going to take this on? I guess I'm going to have to crack open my old school books!
  10. Use a "Splitter" on the other hand I don't know if it will work out good anyway, I don't know what the output Impedence of the DVD players are. Maby TheEar or DanF can go into little more detail on this one. I do know you'll have trouble if you try it with a Turn Table.
  11. Save your self some money and get the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz, that is if you listen to music
  12. Yep,visited Perh too.
