  1. Ive heard both sides of the argument. I contend that, for example, 185wpc makes more bass than 100wpc. Just curious of others opinions.
  2. I should have been more specific. This is an Audionics Fosgate 4100 home stereo amp, not car audio...may be the same company though, not sure.

    Forum App

Is there any chance of seeing an android app for the Klipsch forum? If there is one I'd love to know about it! Thanks!
  4. Interesting thread. Lol
  5. Has anyone got any experience with these amps? I bought (cheap might I add) this amp ain non working condition. I know nothing about this thing other than it doesnt put out sound. I took the hood off, nothing looks burnt or odd and it doesnt smell funny. Besides a fuse, is there anything else I can look for and is this thing even worth the trouble? Thank you!
  6. Great! Just wanted to make sure I was clear on that! Thank you for the reply!
  7. A little confused on this. I have a Marantz 2265. If I run an amp with it then the Marantz becomes the pre amp and the amp is providing all the power....is that correct? Another way of asking, the marantz is 65 wpc, if i add a 105 wpc amp to it am I then running 105 wpc instead of 65 wpc?
  8. You probable already know this but the heads on these swivel to help find that "sweet spot" in the room.
  9. Great pair of B&W speakers in great condition. One of the grills has a tiny pin hole about the size of a pencil lead and the same grill has a small corner of the grill that is a bit roughed up but nothing major if I hadnt mentioned it you probably would not notice it. They are clear as can be. No scratches, not nicks no dings. Woofers are all clean and in good working order. If you have any interest or questions PM me. Trades considered. I am in central Arkansas. Thank you!
  10. http://littlerock.craigslist.org/ele/3913955963.html Not close to you but I have seen it and heard it. No problems with it and the guy is willing to deal.
  11. If a K-55 driver ohms out right and still works is there any reason to change it? Do they get 'exhausted'? I just ordered a pair of woofers, crossovers, and tweeters from Crites but left the k55 driver alone. Should I change it?
  12. This should be easy for ya'll. Why are some earlier cornwalls vertical? Why were they done like that and what were the benefits? Thanks in advance!!
  13. PM me if you have some k55 drivers you can spare and let me know what you want for them!!
  14. I can't be the first to think of this but has anyone ever mounted a k-55 to the top of a Cornwall or any other horn larger than what is already there? Is there even a crossover that would work for that? Maybe the k55 would be to much and not balance out the low end of the Cornwall the way im thinking it would. Just thinking out loud....go easy on me.
  15. I hear there is someone out there besides Bob Crites that does crossovers and stuff but I don't know his name. Anyone know who that might be?! Lol. Sorry, vague, I know.
  16. Thanks for the fast response! It comes throughboth channels. I will check the ground wire in the unit and also make sure everything is plugged in good. I guess the possibility exists there is something wrong with the phono in the amp. I just picked my marantz up from Durhams electronics in Little Rock and he cleaned it thouroughly, replaced the lamps and gave it an overall clean bill of health, so the odds of the problem being in the receiver is low.
  17. I'm on a Cornwall project. If you have type B xovers, k-33 woofers, or k-77 tweeters please pm me. I would prefer crites gear but not necessary. Thank you!
