  1. I am willing to take $900 for this if someone is interested.
  2. Completely agree Mark. It's not the end of the world if I don't sell them, but I could use the cash more than two pair of VRD's.
  3. I've got my VRD mono blocks for sale. Another member has his Inspire KT-88 Fire Bottle for sale. There is a pair of Casablanca mono blocks for sale from another member. All great stuff. Take your pick. I have a pair of Soliloquy 5.2 speakers up for sale in Walnut, with external crossovers. Also selling my McIntosh C32.
  4. Sold I am selling my McIntosh C32 preamp, which I purchased from the original owner here locally. It is in excellent condition throughout. It's all original with no issues. I used the internal phono section with my VPI Classic and Soundsmith Zephyr cartridge. Always sounded very nice. I used it a lot with my VRD mono block amps and Soliloquy speakers, also both up for sale. Just above the volume knob, there are a couple small bubbles in the glass. Other than this, excellent condition, especially for an original C32 like this that has never been tampered with. I'll take $900 for it. Buyer pays shipping charge. Let me know if you guys have any questions. The preamp is quite a classic, and the new owner will be very happy. By the way, we are a smoke/pet free home. Contact me for more pics.
  5. Wonderful little amp. I had one of these a couple years back with an Inspire LP-1 preamp and reluctantly sold them both when switching to more power hungry speakers. Dennis has always made sweet sounding amps. I'm surprised no members have shown interest. I hate to see it go to eBay, but it's much more exposure over there. This amp with a pair of Heresys makes for a sweet sounding little system. GLWS
  6. Now THAT is a burger.
  7. Anyone interested in a nice pair of VRD's with Auricaps? Maybe it's a bad time of year to sell or something...For those of you unsure or unaware, these amps are incredible value. I personally don't know of anything that can best them for the price of admission, especially used, like this pair.
  8. I completely agree Schu.
  9. Incredible amps for sure. I am grateful to own such nice gear.
  10. Yes these sound incredible. I'm only selling them beings I bought A1UC's "hot rod" VRD amps with the Magnequest transformers and a ton of upgrades. Otherwise these wouldn't be going anywhere.
  11. SOLD Back on the market is my VRD amps made by Craig Ostby of NOS Valves. I am back and forth on keeping these, but I have two pair and one set needs to go. These have custom made solid walnut wood bases and upgraded Auricaps. Excellent condition with no issues whatsoever. 60 watts/channel ultra linear or 30 watts/channel in triode, which is switchable on the fly. Each output tube has it's own bias point, which is very handy for maintaining the exact bias of each particular output tube as it ages. I am including a nearly brand new NOS matched quad of SED Winged C 6550 tubes made in the St.Petersburg factory. I just bought these new just last month, and they have no more than 50 hours on them. I personally like these tubes a lot with the VRD's; The original SED Winged C tubes are becoming quite hard to find these days, so this is a nice bonus. Rectifier tubes included are Sovtek 5AR4's, and the small signal 12au7 and 12ax7 tubes are JJ's. I have the original factory boxes from Craig to ship them in safely. You will love these amps, especially if you've never heard VRD's. These are sold

    VRDS Sold

Wow, I would love to hear these!
  16. It's really a great sounding amp, especially after the rebuild. It wasn't having any problems before, but I knew the internal components were well up in age. Figured it was time to replace everything and Jon Soderberg was recommended to me directly from Nelson Pass. Of course, Jon did a wonderful job. I'm sure whoever hears the amp will buy it, but not everyone is local and can come by for an audition.
  17. I may be interested in trades as well...ready to try something different.
  18. I have a fully restored Threshold 400a for sale here on the forum.
