am looking for a front speaker for a living room, moderate sized for CD playing and theater use. Locally on CL KSP300 is open for offers. I like the idea of no subwoofer but guess each speaker has builtin sub-amp and has to be connected to AC. anyone have the set? thanks,

Found KV1 on CL, will this be compatible with KF-28?
-
very nice, thanks.

styling wise may not be ideal with KF-28s...

locally there is synergy C-2 center speaker on CL for $60, will this be work with RF-10 or KF-28 (I will be getting these for main room)? thanks

I live in Davis, California, and have been looking around for KF-28 in good shape for a good price..., somewhat hard to come by, except for a dealer type on CL.... Let me know if u can make my day...

this is 10 years after the original question, I have had RF10 for 3 months now and can verify indeed, these speakers are excellent for front main speakers for music or theater (with a sub), worth every penny, listen to them about 5 hrs on weekends...

I bought a pair of RF10 during x-mas for my exercise room. Surprisingly good sound with all type of music, am not a rocker... Also use for home theater with a polk audio sub. Never had Klipsch before although about 40 years ago, was impressed by La Scala at a store.... Surprising result for my investment, more than satisfied, now for my main room looking at KF-28 for theater use... What I am saying is these speakers are exxxelllenteee!

For home theater setup I have only 2 front speakers (RF-10) with a 10" subwoofer, am looking for a visually similar center speaker that is <$100. I see the new RC-10 are around $150. Is there an older model with "copper" color speaker material that is made for center speaker?, will other Klipsch center speakers work?

I have the same RF10, what purpose ?, has 2 separate +/- teminals?

Synergy F-3 as main speakers in 2 channel audio
gychang replied to gychang's topic in 2-Channel Home Audio
thanks, woot! is interesting, no "e" OK. -
not interested in home theater but strictly for 2channel audio in a large room. I listen mainly to small jazz group, instrumental etc, using a digital amplifier low power like D amplfiier. Local CL has pair of Synergy F-3, like new at $450 or best offer. I am thinking about it since Klipsche tend to be very efficient with low power amp in a large listening room. Would be interested in impression as to how this setup may work from forum members. thanks,
