Funny he sent me a message stating I shouldn't say anything about someone when they aren't here to defend themselves this morning. What's even funnier is I was one of the only ones backing his right to be a jerk if he wanted and to be able to come back under his real name.

It's up to snuff, but posting on here,I thought it was for a comedic response. And my response is that it would be funnier to me, if as a response, if there was video of watching his quirkiness. I assumed you weren't listening to the lp as you didn't say that

For some reason it doesn't have the same effect as watching him sing it.

I've only done it a few times on computer DVD players. I took them apart, sort of a pain. But unless they stop reading the disk I would not bother to clean. you either get the data or you don't. If you want to clean it the easier way is to get a cleaner CD disk. Its a blank disk with a tiny brush that hits the laser element and knocks the dust off it. Much faster than tearing it apart. some manufacturers of cd cleaner kits say 100 hours or so. As for my own personal laser, I have to be careful when cleaning it, last time I did I had triplets.

Jim, I was also leery in the beginning, but they have gotten better over the past year or so. Besides this one there is a company called 23andme that does an in depth one,as well as Ancestry doing 2 others, maternal (for women's lines) and paternal (men's lines).There's also the Natgeo one that traces the lineage back to where your families lines started. I'm looking at doing the paternal one for me as I don't know who my real father is, so I'd like to at least know the heritage line. I'm looking to do the mix up of my makeup, then what percentage is from my father and then mother, then with the Natgeo one, it's supposed to trace back to where "Adam and Eve" had their family lines start.The maternal side goes back further all the way to Africa and the 3 main tribes that they say we came from, and the paternal side goes back to the 4th and 5th at most.So if the line breaks somewhere in between it will give a lineage that will be god for conversation if anything. Funny thing on mine is my makeup is way off from what some of my family stated. It shows on my end I have 14% coming from Sweden and Norway. I am just really starting to get into the search,so I'm having issues going back to my great great grandparents.I found my great great grandmothers parents, but not my great great grandfathers parents on my mother's side. My report shows 95% of my line is from Western Europe and the UK. The nice thing about the Ancestry one is they start matching you up with people who are similar to your lines and you can make contact that way. Can't hurt to start that way. Only thing is they started me with 296 matches that are at least a 90%+ match on my DNA that could be anything from a 2nd cousin to a 5th cousin. So on my end I will never know my father's family as I never even got a name. On my mother's side I can go back further. The Natgeo test will be nice to show the tracking of their beginnings.

Has anyone done the Ancestry DNA kit to test their families backgrounds? I did it for me and my wife, and am going to do the paternal and maternal next, then do the Natgeo one to trace our families beginnings and how they migrated. I was very surprised to say the least. Was very nice doing it though.

The joke would really be on all of you if I said I was really Mark,lol. Carl, as I stated above, you have a way of putting things into a different perspective and I do understand the WHY but as I stated, my opinion will vary against others. I disagree. Mike, that's why I recommended he ask other members on here. I do not own a set and am going by what others have stated. I was told they are very good for rock, but classical and other softer types not as good. I asked as well when I was in the market and settled on the forte II's.

Cris, I'd ask people on here who have Cornwalls about them.If you are looking for "lush wet sound" Cornwalls may not be what you want. Most on here say they are good for rock music, but lack in other types with the mids and highs. I would probably look at the forte or chorus lines, and take it from there.I could be wrong, but everything I see posted states Cornwalls are not the best for critical listening. I'd also look at a KG 4.2,KG 5.2 or the (.5) on either one as they have a much large horn and may give better mids and highs.

Roger, I could see that happening from the limited posts I've seen him make. But my whole argument was and has been that for those that could see what he posted, is that we all could choose not to feed into his BS. And my statement that he should have been able to come back under MARK was based on what I was able to see,and that alone.My initial responses back at him were as venomous as his were towards me, until I saw what he was doing,then In just laughed at him.Unless he was threatening physical attack on someone to me it's just words. Again, I didn't see what went on behind closed doors, and used his name as an example as it was there.If he got Klipsch legal involved then that's when he becomes a cancer to the forum and then he should be banned. I didn't agree on him saying what he said about a members daughter, but I think that was said in a smart *** remark not knowing the age of the daughter. Could he have known? Possibly, but I don't think he did. I could be wrong. He did seem to be more helpful than trouble as he was one of the few who did take the time to answer questions.Did he instigate with Jimjimbo? Possibly, but unless we all know what went on behind closed doors or PM's none of us can be 100% sure . He was in my opinion fighting back and doing something most of us do, acting as a smart *** and being snarky. Do I think he should have been banned over it,or his messages in private PM's to other members or moderators? No. If 2 people are PM'ing each other,it's none of our business. If it spills over into the forum then it should be addressed with both members. Carl made a very good analogy on school kids in this thread, and I would add that on my end with my own kids, if one has an issue with the other,even if I know who did the instigating,I tell both to cut the BS. Then I take them both aside in private and explain how I feel about the situation and will let each one know how I feel their part in the situation was wrong. But I make sure I tell them in front of each other to cut it out without taking any sides. That's ultimately what I was trying to portray with my comments. Reprimand both parties equally, and then address each one individually in PM.

Honestly, when you consider exchanges with him it does give credence on Klipsch's stance on not allowing political discussions on the main forum....Someone mentioned the car wreck analogy before and honestly I think those conversations/debates are important, but once started hard to stop/hard to keep away from and someone's feelings will be hurt....Look at all of the people who complain and don't realize the secret is not to click on those threads. I also like to voice my opinion and you gave a lot to consider that I could respond but it all would be political rebuttal that I also feel important to convey but know where these discussions end given the rules of this Forum....I also like to blame the media but if Donald saw what you saw on TV (Like he said) then there should be documentation of it...If none is found, I contend he is misremembering something especially since Governor Christy said it didn't happen. {Notice I didn't use the word "lie" and am giving him the benefit of the doubt.} There were actually videos on the news stations here. I could look online for them, but they did post them showing them on roofs all around Jersey City dancing and parading, they also showed them in Journal Square doing the same and the police had to "protect" them. Brooklyn, Queens,and a few other NYC areas also said they were doing it. But again that stuff was squashed by the media. Christy saying it didn't happen was to cover his rear end from negative feedback from potential voters. I agree on Trump not speaking up saying he personally saw it,then changing it to seeing it on TV. But it did happen.

Hmm...Must have missed that thread but as always you give us good things to think about....Insofar as giving Master/Lord/Mister whatshisname pause on how he reacts with people---I feel I know him well enough to say that didn't happen and he had ulterior motives. Nothing sinister but he just couldn't stay away because he misses the confrontation and I agree those seemingly annoyed by his delivery weren't going to fare well debating him unless they had a lot of time on their hands. That's my take. I wasn't in that many debates with him, but your response to me is spot on. He definitely seemed to revel in confrontation more, and your take on needing the time and effort seems accurate. From what I can remember about his posts. As for being annoyed, once you can take a step back and see where his delivery is coming from, it makes it easier to answer. Easier said than done for me at many many times.

Cris, you should demo as many units as you can then to see what "sound" you like, and then start searching for models in your price range.

I'm sorry Jim but your views seem totally Right-wing and although you say you saw Muslims by the thousands cheering in Jersey City like Trump, the difference is he saw it on TV and blaming the Media on this one without finding the footage the Donald saw seems off base to me.... Of course, this is political discourse and as much as I like to engage the rules seem to frown upon it so I will leave it there. My views may lean more towards the right, but I am not a radical. I believe that the radicals on both sides are what's the biggest issue with today. Especially when both sides have no clue on anything when questioned. My stance is live and let live, don't force your belief system on anyone,and help your fellow man. It's that simple. I also believe you should work for a living and not sit on your rear end for handouts,and anyone doing that should be taken off of assistance. I believe they should be drug tested as I had to be in order to work, and they should have governmental programs for higher education in different schools. Not college, but trade schools. If those people refuse to go to school, they get taken off of assistance.Give them 2-4 years of assistance and schooling before they come off of it,after they find work.If a family has 2 members working and still can't pay their bills, then they should be able to get some type of assistance. I don't believe a burger flipper deserves $15.00 and hour,especially when an EMT worker makes less and has to go through training,and especially since our armed forces members get screwed even worse.I also think illegal immigrants are just that,here illegally and need to go through the proper channels, just like every other denomination had to in prior years.They shouldn't be given the handouts they are getting when they are taking money from people like you and me who have funded these funds. No it's not Cris. Any system you preview on youtube is only going to sound as good as your computer's speaker set up. You'll never get the full SQ until it's in your home system. I'd ask a few of the builders on here if they have a "loaner program" for you to preview something for a week or so, or ask about a return policy. Again maybe one of them has a one off they could let go for cheap. Many of them on here offer lifetime help for free on their amps and I'm sure you could sell it to someone on here if it weren't for you. Most of the builders on here have really good reputations with their products, so someone is always willing to buy one as they know the amp will be worth it just on the customer service alone.

Whoever he was it was weird he came back...... I never knew he left in the 1st place, and didn't know it was him until 2/3 of the way through that whole thread. And here I was sticking up for someone I didn't like,lol. Granted I went by what was posted here, not knowing about the behind the closed door issues, but my posting was geared more towards more than one individual that has been booted/bashed including myself. Cris, If you go on Craig's website,there's a list of all the products he services. Those would be the best units to target, but you can't preview something on youtube.That would be like test driving a car online watching someone else drive. Any of those units that you can get for less than $375.00 and lower will be a steal. And then I'd also allot another $400.00 or so for a total restoration. Or go the route of a newer used unit as was stated earlier in the posts. I am by far nowhere near as knowledgeable as others when it comes to tube amps, but I do know you need to have it in your system for awhile before making a decision. What I did however was purchase a couple different units, try them out, and then sell what I didn't like. If I were you, I'd try the class A SET again, have it wired in triode mode directly from the company and use it for a month or so. Then upgrade it if you like the sound with new caps, wiring, and/or resistors. Craig, toolshed Matt, and several others on here can more than do a capable job of redoing an amp for you, and you'll be in it for less than $500.00. Or get the integrated and you'll still be in it for that range. Then build on things from there. I was strapped monetarily, and bought the 1st amp for less than $200.00 plus shipping. All in all, 3 amps have run me less than $1000.00 total.

And when someone actually said something on my behalf , they were told by more than one member to mind their business, but how was it their business to speak up? And one was a moderator. So my voicing my opinion on the clique is based on the same 4-5 guys who talk all the Bullshit they want but when someone goes back at them, they are the ones who get attacked or barred.
