Selling a set of 10ft Z2 bi-wire cables. They have banana plugs on the receiver side, and spade connections on the speaker side. These are heavy, each cable weighs 3.5-4 lbs. Asking $120 including shipping and Paypal fees. Discounted for forum members. Have them up on ebay for $160 and local for $140.

Picked up another pair of RF-5's off Craigslist today. They are in pretty good shape cosmetically. Few broken tabs, minor finish wear, etc. They had been sitting in the original owners garage for a while as he had replaced them with a Klipsch soundbar and wireless sub. One of them works perfectly, however the woofers on one of the towers is playing very quietly the sound is clean just quiet. The tweeter plays at the proper volume. I checked the connections and nothing was amiss. Is it possible the crossover had gone bad? Or anything else I should check? Thanks.

Also the RC-7 is ported, where as the rc-3's are not. I was recently looking for a replacement center to go with my RF-5's. I didn't come across any RC-7's, but found someone locally that had a mint condition RC-62ii for under $200. I picked that up and it keeps up with the towers quite well.

Yeah ... that'd be me! Now if I had the extra money I'd have bought his RF-62's as well. If I recall. I believe they were RF-82's. Last I saw he was asking $475 for the pair. Someone must have finally bought them since they disappeared.

55-oh-you.jpg Yep, lady I bought them from was the original owner, she was selling her home and the realtor made her put them in storage. Then they were too big for her town home. She was asking $300 for a few weeks so I offer $200. Few minor wear spots on the top and 2 broken posts on one of the grills but that's it.

Ah, So you're the one who snatched that subwoofer. You got it fast. I had been texting with the owner then was informed it had been sold. If you decide to part with the RW-12D, let me know.

I'd have some flexibility on the pricing, but will also depend on actual shipping costs. Just trying to see if there is much market for these speakers before making an offer on the system.

I'm considering buying and parting out a THX Ultra2 system. I found a good deal locally, they won't sell in pieces and I'm currently only interested in the subwoofers. Testing the waters to gauge the interest first so I don't get stuck with the whole thing. It is used but in mint condition. Never abused. No original boxes. (May or may not include the grills, I have to confirm this). Not sure of the market, but from the very few I've seen the prices I've set are a good deal. Yep, i have the skills to do that. Could be fun. I picked up my RF-5 pair locally for $200 so maybe another deal will show. Or I know the woofers are still available from Klipsch so maybe the other pieces are available as well, and I could just order the new pieces and build the housing.

I'm looking to upgrade my center channel. Its a great center but is over powered by the RF-5's. Other than the RC-7, which would be nice but hard to find. What other centers are recommended? I'd like to stay roughly around $200 with ship. I've seen a few Rc-62's in the $200-$250 range shipped lately. My old center will be for sale if you know anyone looking for a classic polk center. What's a decent price for a pair of RF-5 Towers these days. They were made in 2001 and have some cosmetic damage. Thanks.

Why pay $149 for image ones when you can pick up the status for $125? Unless you're after the bluetooth ones.

Yes I don't want/like them either, but figured I'd list them anyways. I like my Klipsch status.
