  1. Slippery.................and too far distant for me to catch.
  2. Welcome to Forum, Those won't last long, and if you are so inclined to run them west to "the mitten state" I'd certainly commit to being their new captor.
  3. So, am I to assume that AK-47's would remain "legal"? Not nearly as accurate, but the old stand by when needing to "spread some lead".
  4. is that the size of the current jackpot, or the odds of winning?
  5. Highly recommended to replace them in 10 year intervals. One's back and sleep patterns have been shown to be positively impacted by doing so. ZZzzzz......
  6. How to eliminate the physical issue short term: 1 way bus tickets to unknown regions, or free, small caliber firearms? Antactica is not a viable option, and Australia was already the recipient of many not seen as socially acceptable. Might this be the <real> reason behind space travel? Either escape our current predicament, or send the offenders to the moon, mars, etc?
  7. Which is exactly what I eluded to 6 and 11 posts prior. HOLD the socitetal institutions accountable or be over-run by their policies.
  8. I'm done - carry on without fear of additional weighted commentary - from me. Thanks for the opportunity to "rant". Be safe, and avoid the low blows.
  9. I've maintained the old school of thought - defend yourself at all costs. My girls were given the full go-ahead VERY early in their schooling to do whatever is necessary to protect themselves - fists only & without weapons of course! If $h!t hits the fan, then parental intervention with the system, with legal council if necessary would not be out of the question. The system has gotten to big for their britches mostly because they don't have the solution either - OR is it because they aren't able to be held accountable? Hmmmm
  10. I am yet too young to succumb to the old adage that "the world is going to hell in a hand basket" but I am becoming acutely aware of the reasoning behind such thought....
  11. discipline? I'd interject that there is no longer an element of accountability - not with children, nor adults. It seems too many now operate in a vacuum in which morals, integrity, and ethics no longer exist. So, who is left to enforce "accountability"? It used to be done by one's self, family, peer group, or social institutions but the fabric of society has become overly tolerant of those that don't live the prim & proper life. Thugs are nearly worshipped and there is no solution to the issue. Add in mental instability and bullying backlash and you have the current mess we routinely see. But, I am highly in favor of FULL & THOROUGH background checks prior to purchase as it serves to again validate, ME, as a responsible buyer / owner / citizen.
  12. Upgraded Belles $3200 I know.... https://akroncanton.craigslist.org/ele/d/belle-klipsch/6542941997.html
  13. RT-12-D https://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/ele/d/klipsch-rt-12-subwoofer/6542942954.html $600 Seems this didn't sell the last time posted a month or so ago..........
  14. Cornwall 2's - vertical decorators? $675 https://cleveland.craigslist.org/ele/d/klipsch-cornwall-ii-speakers/6543007915.html ?
  15. So, you are no longer the self proclaimed "poor" college student. Congratulations on the car and, belated, on the job.
  16. Not bad - you could do worse
  17. It replaced a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with 175,000 miles. Hated to see it leave, but since we'd owned it since 2000, and the last 137,000 miles of its life with us, it was time to let it go. Even with the "highly" disclosed weak 3rd gear issue, the GM 3.8L ran strong and still got 20mpg city & 28mpg on the highway. Probably the BEST all around GM motor ever produced. YMMV
  18. It was the "right" color, with the "right" miles. Pretty rare G8-GT in Pacific Slate Metalic with moon roof (I believe less than 1100 total made in this config). Price wasn't necessarily the best, but the previous owner agreed to deliver it 3 hours one way to make it somewhat more palatable. Just got a full sized spare with matching 19" rim & found an original roadside accessory kit (jack, handle, etc) to my door for $70. The inflater kit with a can of slime just doesn't cut it on long runs.
  19. Klipsch Pro - (4)Kp-262 and (2)Kp-362 - $500 for all https://myrtlebeach.craigslist.org/msg/d/6-klipsch-pro-speakers-1/6536001131.html
  20. And from the photo on the ad, they appear to be brand new
  21. Now we're talking, (+ if only in whispers) actual prices posted for Buyer consideration. Thank you. Oh, and good luck with your inventory reduction.
  22. Welcome, ye of 10 entire postings. DO - indeed, appreciate the shared knowledge. We look forward to "your" future contributions.
  23. Black, if memory serves correct. Weren't those a "Did you see what I saw" alert acquisition?
  24. @teaman "No soup for you.........2 weeks". I do agree that it'd be easier, as a Buyer, to delve deeper or simply dismiss these tidbits IF prices were clearly stated. Smells like a PM auction, but could also be a means to "use" the forum knowledge and interest level as an appraisal service. Whatever works for the parties involved, but in the past prices were mandatory here. All the best with your sale(s).
  25. @Rxonmymind Why did you not have the seller ship it for you? Where there is a will, there IS a way.
