  1. I love animals - when they are someone else's. I learned at very young age that pets have short life spans, especially the furry ones. A parrot or a tortoise on the other hand is a totally different scenario, but how "fun" are those? I chose not to have the headache with the losses, nor the extra responsibility of caring for them. I can play with &/or torment my friends' pets all I want and not have vet bills, yard clean up, pet hair, etc. I chose to have kids instead with the understanding that they will - eventually - be self sufficient.
  2. I believe that would be just past the, BIG, brown-trout sculpture. For those of you not familiar, the area is known for excellent trout fishing in cold spring fed streams, along with morel mushrooms in the spring.
  3. Who got them? I hear they are going to Toledo OH. Fess up now………………………...
  4. PWK signature is as rare as a wet fart! That's funny Zim. $1000 (or less) for K-horns would have more value - to me - than some penmanship, but maybe that is just me. Debating the authenticity, and potential increase in value, seems futile.
  5. Contemplating, and the time lost in doing so, will get the best of you at some point. As long as you can sleep well without the acquisition, all is good. More coming from this seller soon. K-horns @ $1800 I'm told. Jim
  6. http://richmond.craigslist.org/ele/5352092089.html not mine
  7. http://nmi.craigslist.org/ele/5351137786.html Not mine. Clear coated though. I will vouch for seller credibility, and no, his Belles shown in the photos are NOT for sale. But, I do have the pair he let go last year.
  8. It's a comparison effect - oh my, look how wonderful everyone else's life is (in comparison). They vacationed there, bought a such & such, moved to a new house, accomplished this or that, etc. FB can overwhelm & literally bombard you with that kind of noise, and I can see where the depression mode could set in.
  9. Hey now, I was just showing everyone that it was available. By no means was I inferring that it was a good deal. Besides, who here pays full asking price anyway? My CL sales nearly always result in a price clip. I wonder if I offered something for free, would the "buyer" then expect to get paid to take the item just to "win" the negotiation?
  10. http://maine.craigslist.org/ele/5351833779.html Not mine No phone # given - has some damage.
  11. The "wide range" of source material you've now shared, could possibly then, provide balance and accuracy that many choose to ignore. Congratulations.
  12. Bump - Great amp @ only $0.50 per watt !
  13. Samsung 7100 series offer all HDMI 2.0 and 2.2 HDCP compliance.
  14. Congratulations sir ! Another "arrow" hits the mark.
  15. A detached garage, that occasionally acts as a huge ported subwoofer when windows & doors are open blasting sweet music, could also benefit from the access convenience this item offers. There's an idea - I'm not sure I could afford to explore.
  16. Continue to keep an open mind and don't limit your sources too aggressively or you'll essentially be putting blinders on. Seek balance & accuracy.
  17. A cool gadget non the less. So, how many of you actually use a keyed lock to enter your home? My guess is many just use the garage door opener - only. You SHOULD be locking the door between the house & garage, and then this unit would offer some convenience over using a key. My $.02
  18. used market on RF-7's (I suppose ANY gear) is HIGHLY dependent upon finish, condition, and seller motivation. wide range pricing is roughly $6-1200 with not many either available, or selling, on the ends of the spectrum
  19. VERY similar technology to what is already used in the real estate market with showings & property access. The major difference is that it is now incorporated within the lock itself versus a bluetooth security box containing a key.
  20. http://baltimore.craigslist.org/ele/5349892813.html Not mine Cherry finish - No Phone# given, 5's have begun to show up again, recently. In case you are considering: The original retail price was $549 each - but I may be mistaken - that may've been the floor model price, but I show $750 for that pair. 5's are also real wood veneered, as opposed to the newer & similar RF-82's that are - vinyl.
  21. http://omaha.craigslist.org/ele/5349430727.html Not mine Not the best shape but available
  22. jimjimbo, I think you're missing the point. This guy ain't getting under our skin one bit. When the forum gets a bit watered down, why not spend our time online in other, (questionably) constructive ways? We get our fix, and "Chuck" gets some badly needed attention. Win, Win. Back to harassment mode. LOL Uh, no, it's you that's missing the point. I've had the extreme displeasure of dealing with this guy previously, and believe me he knows exactly what he's doing. Oh, and he's not getting under your skin....really? This is now post #47. Huge waste of time, and my last comment here. Thanks to jimjimbo for reminding me of an important mantra: Live & let live. Continuing to contact the seller in hopes to either provoke, harass, or antagonize serves zero purpose. Thinking further, if this were to happen in a school setting, it would be construed as bullying. I'm OUT .
  23. NO sweat, TWO 12's for under $200. Great score at "happy meal" prices. They look great by the way!
