  1. Nope, for just the heresys. Cabinets are in need of tlc. Idk a lot about the signature series but he seems to think they are very rare.
  2. Finally got a response and price...$600
  3. Everybody says they have version 1, how do you verify? I know the port is longer but I’ve read you can modify the ports in v.2 to make them like v.1. There is something about the color of wires too right?
  4. Yea, I figured I could find one there but wanted to check here first. Got a guy locally who is digging thru his inventory too.
  5. Measures about 7/8” across and just short of 3/4” tall. Black line runs the length of the knob but not onto the face. Has a slight beveled edge on the front. Thanks.
  6. I need a single Marantz knob with the plastic insert , this is a 2230 non b version.
  7. It’s not about the asking price. People can ask whatever price they want but it’s the fact that they ask a price then they get some quick interest so they say whoa! I need to up my price. These were listed for $600 the. $800 Now $1000. Maybe he thinks they’re on the bay and he’s bidding them up.
  8. Uh...isn’t this conversation over 2 years old?
  9. Just wanted to give another thanks to Wuzzer. Shipped me a pair of diaphragms FAST! Popped those babies in and problem resolved. Real stand up my man! Thank you!
  10. Yea, I plan to recap at some point but wanted to sort this out first. Square cup. I’ll try to dig my meter out this week. Put all my tools in storage when I moved this year and not sure exactly where the freaking thing is.
  11. That’s what I did, except for using a multimeter to test it.
  12. Yea, I guess I said that wrong just calling the midrange that was giving me trouble a driver. Like I mentioned I moved the whole mid to the other cabinet and it was still having issues so I didn’t see the need to test the xover any further. The other mid sound great in either cabinet.
  13. I do believe that the one is bad or going bad. I would absolutely take you up on that gracious offer. I’ll pm you for payment info. Thank you!
  14. Status update: Played around a bit with these but still scratching my head. I did miss one obvious thing tho, one tweeter has a titanium and the other looks factory, guess I’ll try to find one more titanium...anyway that isn’t the problem at hand. So I jiggle move and messed with all the wires and such. As I did the mid would drop in and out. Pulled all drivers and had only the mid working, noticed some distortion so I pulled it out and could tell the horn and driver has been apart before. Pulled it apart again and all looked fine to my eyes, put it back together and hooked it up again with mid only, sill distorted and drops in and out. So...I switch the mids from one cabinet to the other and it follows that same mid. I’m guessing that this one driver is bad but I don’t have access to a meter right now. Could it be a bad driver and still be intermittently dropping in and out like that?
  15. Ok, that’ll be my next steps. I’ll post back after I do. Thanks Gentlemen.
  16. I bought some gel stain for a set of black 5.2, matches perfectly but much more involved than using a sharpie.
  17. These are a new to me pair of Heresy ii, they’re in nice condition and look all original except I think they have titanium diaphragms in the tweeters. Pulled the crossover out the other day just to look and it still has the old caps in there. They actually sound really nice but today I noticed that one mid is louder than the other. I thought it could be my amp so I tried another with the same result. Would this be a cap issue or could there be something else going on. The horn mounts directly to the magnet on these, right? So there isn’t a gasket that needs replacing like on the k55v? I’ll dig into them soon but wanted to see who has run into this before. Thanks, Mark
  18. My apologies, I had seen several sets of rf7 in Florida. One pair had a wrinkled dust cone and wanted to make sure you thoroughly checked them out...I thought it was this pair but when I looked again I realized that these were a different pair.
  19. I seen the same thing on a set of klf-10, posted first day for $350 which I thought was a fair price , couple days later jumped up to $425, now a few more days back down to $375. I guess they get enough messages that they think they have platinum in their hands and they up the price.
  20. Who got em!? How bad off are they?
  21. Contacted the private seller who said their son has taken them and they aren’t for sale anymore. Kindly advised them that they should be removed from the website or they will have some angry people come Thursday morning.
