Paducah Home Theate shipped my Forte IVs out on Monday and the shipping company just called and said they will be delivering them to me on Friday - Dang - That was fast. Great service. I already borrowed a dolly and anxiously await their delivery and getting them placed and dialed in.

Congrats on your new Cornwall 4s and I’m sure they sound amazing.

I can hardly stand waiting for them to arrive. I have a really nice turntable setup and use a BluOS node2i and a denefrips pontus DAC and it sounds so good. My wife bought me KT 150s for my Primaluna and this synergy with the Forte 4s should be amazing.

So sad to see these legends pass. She defined Motown greatness.

I will share my review here as soon as I have them here and setup and dialed in. I think the synergy is going to be off the hook. They could arrive by next Monday whooooohoooooo and I have a few of my favorite vinyl records ready to needle drop and my Amazon “Stereo Demo” playlist ready to cue up. I am hoping to have a very positive review to share with all you Klipsch geeks. If they suck I will quickly and quietly disappear never to post on this forum again.😝

I have forte 1s and had a ma252 for over a year. It was beautiful and sounded very good. I went to Upscale Audio and auditioned a Primaluna EVO 400 and ended up trading in the MA 252 because to my ears in my space the Primaluna sounded much better than the McIntosh hybrid. The ma252 looked awesome and was very well made but the EVO 400 was in another league in my tiny brain. good luck with whatever you choose

I have a set of Dave As Lmahl tweeters in my Fortes and a set of Smahl Tweeters in my Super Heresys

Thanks - I am planning on keeping my original Fortes because they are something I shared in buying with my late father and they sound great. Hopefully they will add to my surround sound system. I am very excited and can’t wait to receive them and get them setup in my listening space.

Thanks Marvel - I have had my current Fortes for years now - they were my deceased fathers. I am pretty sure these will be the last speakers I ever purchase so I decided to go for this latest upgrade to enjoy them while my hearing is still good. I am retired now so spend a lot of time listening to music from my sweet spot and I am hoping that the new Forte 4s enhance the sound stage over my 35 yo Fortes. Felt lucky to find I had some cash laying around I did not realize I had so i yielded to temptation and made the call to Paducah.

Interesting take between how McBluemeter and Steve heard the Fortes! Unfortunately because of the pandemic my closest Authorized Klipsch Heritage Dealesrs have had their showrooms and listening rooms closed for months. I might just have to take a chance on them and hope they sound as good as Steve says.

Thanks Shakey for the input - that helps me decide - its funny because I love my 1s and could keep them and place them where my Super Heresys are for my surround system but it might be a lot of BIG SPEAKERS in my small living room. I have the $$$$ for the IVs so that is not the issue

Isn’t there anyone here that thinks there is no good reason to upgrade my Forte Is to the latest greatest Forte IVs? Can not get a good sense if the IVs sound 35 years improved over my dads original Fortes or if my added Lmahl tweeters raised the level up enough to sound as good as the IVs?

Most people love the iiis —- what didn’t you like about them?

I’m on the verge of ordering a pair of the 4s even though I love my forte 1s - talk me out of it or I’m pulling the trigger Monday. I just want to hear that incredible mid range in my living room.

What happened to photography is sad. People with great eyes and compositional skills are no longer needed. Everything can just be fake crap. Haha my editorial comments for the night

My day rate never got over $3000 for a ten hour day. I guess my photographic talents did not warrant higher rates. Dang! I guess shooting pictures of sexy naked playmates are not as lucrative as shooting commercial ad campaigns for automobiles - Actually i never made as much $$$$ shooting cars all the years I shot for the TV production company I worked with for 13 years. Poor poor me.
