  1. Afterr listening to the DJ's play over at the vinyl thread, I've stretched the jam out a little. This is only a few of them. This cover record is special if you've got a good copy! Another I long to spin again!! Those are some Heavy Hitters right there!
  2. Listening now bud! just had my 2pm Rxs so I'll survive until my first appointment Thursday!
  3. Been a while, first tune on this one could be a great phone alarm! pulls up at one of their jazz tinged jams He left his earlier music behind when he got his "White Chip" so to speak. Quit playing some of our faves the last couple decades before he went home 7/6/20. That's how it started with the coffee and laundry earlier. Now I'm up and pinballing around.
  4. I recall everybody loved workin' on their Datsuns back then. It was always to "improve"... drivability, handling, heat the fuel line in the wintertime. Endless possibilities that were all cheap!! The `88 if you got a good`un, KEEP IT!
  5. Oh Yeah, and you know that is what their niche in GM was long ago. Even their late 60s 4-4-2s had a good ride. But you'd better have enough air in the tires to handle the roadways! Being a youngster was a lot of fun!
  6. I lived right near there in the 90s. He wasn't off of Howell Branch Rd! I'd have heard him then!
  7. Beautiful Room @GWSmith It's the Lava-Lamps, definitely the Lava-Lamps!

    The Other Discs

I've been attributing a quote that I like to the wrong guy for a while now. In a thread yesterday expressing skepticism I used "Believe Half of What You See and None of What You Hear". Marvin Gaye, Leon Haywood even Ben Franklin said something similar to the above and Ben might have been the first to use it! Edgar Allen Poe is notable in this list of users of the thought of critical thinking. Lou Reed used it well in his politically charged "New York" release!
  9. I admit to not watching it all. 1. Did he ever show the board he's using to enable/disable HF LF on those speakers? & show what's enabled when he does the playback? 2. Did he show what is inside those Heresy where the wires are going to the crossover addition? 3. Didn't see either of the above & stopped playback. Doesn't pass the test for me & did you read that I KNOW more wattage can improve H, M or L Frequencies? I actually bi-wire my F-3s & have taken a lot of flack here over that "So What!" It means 60w to each woofer, 60w to each HF instead of 80 w per channel ! I believe firmly in one of Lou Reed's songs that has the line in it "Believe half of what you see, None of what you hear" (think that was his friend George) He was a skeptical New Yorker, I just grew more that way over the years!
  10. You're definitely trying @dirtmudd, but my bladder isn't down there
  11. Got mine here. But my torso won't fit!
  12. I'll resist, except to say he admitted the heresy were not set up the best they could be (in corners, unobstructed, on the floor). More wattage can produce better sound from a speaker as long as it's clean and not too much wattage for the speaker. He does not do a good job of making his case!
  13. I'll need some of that good Booker's but sadly no. Can't have any of that anywhere near all the near and real opioids I've run through this week. Got one that actually worked for eight hours without me feeling dopey so I've got to save some until I have it bad again or have to go into town. The Dr. and Hosp are an hour away with cooperative traffic. What I had saved up that helped out greatly without pharmacies out here in the sticks were from 2017 & 2018 they still worked! Triple bagged with astringent capsules in the bottles and each zip-lock. That all started with this:
  14. Finally got an appointment with a urologist! I can not conceive of how that should be a hard thing to accomplish! This has been one insanely painful week. With the big stone pinballing back and forth below or in my bladder at least it is bearable now.
  15. Nice pickin' and strumming there @Tim Sr. 29:00 in and not changing channels either!
  16. "That'll Do It"
  17. must be a silly sitcom, their couldn't be guys that ??
  18. Thanks @Marvel Here's "Matchbox Blues" Love my disc of this:
  19. Me too! Seen them as many times as I've seen Heart that's about a half dozen each!
  20. YEA MAN!!!!!!! I LOVE early 70s ZZTop better than the rest! Not a bad song on that LP with the feast inside!!
  21. Makin calls, getting stuff straightened out, One application will get extradited with the info from this weekend! Easy going, like his voice and the tunes.
  22. Wish there were real urologists here! Did not think to check on that, In FL and NC they go after the issue. I never thought of that as "aggressive". Though that was the way it's done. Day 4 now, this ain't right!! Things change, the tylenol 4 is in me now, it works 8 hours. Ran out of my saved stuff from 2017 and the year after. The Flowmax might have helped already too. I'm comfortable except for the amount of liquids going through
