  1. Good Rockin' @MicroMara Looks like Dom is from my hometown region. * different Dom, youtube doesn't have it linked up right as of five minutes ago still.
  2. Yikes! I wasn't expecting that, if I'm restless tonight I will track you down and call incessantly
  3. Only once had one get all his hooks in me, when I was a kid. Found them on me since in folds of my clothing. I HATE spider bites, they swell & hurt for six weeks sometimes. If I see`em they hafta die. Big ones here in this tropical humidity. Spray the home-defense inside. Malthion (following directions) outside. Repeat my favorite heavy ZRock tune I'll never forget "die ------ die"
  4. Being nigh onto 60 and cool mornings do not go together. Almost put brandy in my coffee with the aspirin today, nope that's for after dinner dessert. It's only up to the mid 60s and beautiful here today!
  5. Came real close to some deficit spending just now, taking a break from the lawn mower right now. C-card gave me a 5% rate for a year after they upped my limit to $10K back in Jan. Think they want me to use it!! Would have had me with two SB-3000s whenever I escape!
  6. Pollen is nothing compared to the munched up leaves I've been breathing and spitting out today. It's a little more than a half acre for these two yards. Back yard here is the "Long Deep" Gandolph spoke about going into those caves! Leaves and vines I'm cutting back there, know there are snakes, got my old leather hikers and new heavy denim yard jeans. Old pair had so many holes... won't go there.
  7. Hey I don't see any of the weirdo songs in there George. whew, have you ever heard them explained?? * https://www.songfacts.com/facts/the-police/mother Thinking of LPs I'd like to play tonight!
  8. Kingfish likes it like I do, not changing until it's over.. wait I gotta back up. Good Stuff!
  9. Those are good for Heresy woofer replacements. Nice rich mid-bass in the ones I used.
  10. Yeabut, they would let the breeze in. On low - closed or high - opened. Same with the afternoon thunderstorm the floor was always tile in those connector rooms I was talking about. It was always better to take them down and leave the screen up when they were on a back porch. Had to put poly on them with duct tape in the winter. I will even admit most all the windows today are an improvement from 50+ years ago.
  11. I remembered that word from that excruciatingly long Costner movie. I had a good date to it, and we left before it was over. Looked it up to make sure it meant what I meant, and sure enough it had a new meaning. A wrestler has taken that name, probably from the same movie. OMG I didn't know that animals could be genetically confused too
  12. They sound great together, I've liked all kinds of music except a few. That group is good. The classical piano I grew up hearing and the stuff we heard going to places when I was little wasn't forgotten. Some of it was up in the mountains.
  13. Still 250 after 6 to 8 hours? I see how that $$ ceramic grill can earn it's keep! Pork looks close to being right.
  14. That's good for the niche genre they sound like!

Saw almost the whole first season of that one!

    The Other Discs

The whole series? Dang I didn't like that one that much but did see a few when it first came out.
  17. I know for a fact that 50w on 1990 LS can be glorious with the right recording, and shake the floor with any recording!
  18. Great views @Mossy bottom might even be better than the views of your stereo system I'm used to! But they're not tatanka (bison)
  19. Was listening to something familiar when I saw this on the right. Think the playlist includes the live LP I have of Jaco and crew from back then, with lots more!
  20. That constant wind like before a ts or hurricane hits used to come in late Jan or in Feb every year where I was living in NC. Something about where the mountains were in relation to the weather system moving through. Even that 25 constant is noticeable if you're trying to paint outside you might have to reschedule. Kielbasa anyone? I just noticed that this is the same as my Chicken Cacciotti except for the fried chicken and pasta. Didn't have any bowties or anything so used egg noodles. Like it grilled with pepper and onions, this has a clove and gets tomatos and the pasta. Just smells great at this point when it's almost browned good.
  21. I know it was the same in the Southern USA too @Islander, just before my time. It was year 'round intended on keeping the heat and possible cooking fires away from the living areas. Heard relatives talking about that at get-togethers when I was young & how 8' ceilings in the "new" homes were low. It came during the talk of that wonderful Central Air Conditioning that hit all the burbs in the late 60s Been in lots of older places that had that kitchen connected by either a hallway or construed breakfast nook. The ubiquitous skinny Florida room with the glass louvered windows from about two feet up must have been a fad for a period of time too. I'm a skeptic of all of this faux interest in their country right now, especially when they don't have ANY in the awful state of our own right now. When hollywood tries to wag the dog I notice quickly after buying it several times before that enlightening movie came out. warpigs

    Stupid News

Possibly. The site I saw it at stated the dumbdumb visited the hospital then the police, "Here's Your Sign". Also that Mr. Tyson left the plane afterwards... so it was obviously prior to takeoff.
