  1. Alright, volcanos are just awesome to see.
  2. I find those great Floyd LPs hard to enjoy without dead silence in the background of the media!
  3. I remember hearing some of these years ago on top of some speakers. Their presence and the dispersion of treble was very nice. Think Infinity started using some similar foil tweeters soon after that. But not with the ingenious Thermalright Heatsink looking housing! GLWYS
  4. Evening George. Maybe after you being nice to your back for a good while since all this occurred it's ready to get back in shape! And your mind and body together will have to work with the drs so you can forget about all this five years from now!!
  5. While I love that kind of R&R, I've been listening to a lot of good tunes from back in the day.. Yea mostly Southern These guys were on Capricorn Records too, thanks to Duane! And Eric did a cover of one of their well written tunes on 461 ! @Marvel you might like this LP too, the whole thing is good!
  6. Yep I'm there too! Five years ago I had Gigabit in Charlotte for just a little more than the 35Mbps I get up here! It is a lot more quiet, if I walk down to the lake I'll see stars like I haven't since I was in the boondocks south of Cape Canaveral.
  7. Oh boy, took every single tar and nicotine saturated venetian blind off my windows & to the dump. Cleaned with windex this last time to get them clean. Why? My blinds were arriving today. Double cell, top down, bottom up, cordless. Bought from this same company years ago and trusted them. Every single one of them is an < > an eighth of an inch too big to fit. Gal on the phone was insufferable and wasted words that did not belong in the conversation like a politician! Owner guy (I think) could speak and listen through our "E"s Seems they will be replaced Remember when this LP came out? As a 70s kid, I sure do and he put on a better show then than he did in the late 90s when he opened a Harley dealership on US1 at the Satellite Beach Causeway! The burnouts made a different kind of show
  8. I've got that 12 dreams LP. It was one of those that blew me away when that three two hundred pounds of vinyl came my way!!
  9. He's been in the top three, no five favorite guitarists for a long. long time.
  10. Straight Flush right there bud!!
  11. Loved that version of the Steppenwolf song @ the cd thread! This was on the side, not bad at all. Saw this guy twice in a small place that held less then 500, twice in a 13k coliseum too! James was the perfect singer for that group!

    The Other Discs

Can't upload the pic of the four cds from Tedeschi Trucks band... figured out that AnyDVD took over all the .dat files in my pc, that made the postimage portable impotent. But the first is almost over. It's been a while, and it sounds so good in here right now
  14. Sure that isn't frosting. That is some incredible blue ribbon dough!
  15. Well it was in the 50s yesterday and today! But the cold will come back soon for a lot of us according to what I read. One system to the west one to the east that will funnel the air from the Great White North right down here! I do not know why but when I plugged my pc back to the www after being stored for half a year it updated to a different group of updates that are the more buggy ones that I left a couple years ago. It was in the 2300 level and what I'd been on will not ever jump from 2200 up to there. So I had to reinstall, and maybe the movies I want to watch will cooperate again.
  16. Lots of those bands a emulating what the Hu came out with a couple years ago and got their hits with!! @Dave1291 Yer in my head again! Get outta there, I had this on before I just logged in because I miss my records!! This is one of their 33 1/3rpm greats!
  17. @Marvel Geeze... Hope it's over by now! And you & yours, the neighbors are alright too!
  18. "Acutance" Thanks for the vocabulary lesson for today That Blue Spyder..............................................................................
  19. Remember the late 60s or early 70s T-Birds? Huge behemoths with the large "wheel cover" on the trunk? I was in the backseat on 285 one night and some (^% in a van drove over the trunk while we were doing 65 or 70 in the Ford! It was the early 80s and we rode to the next exit to call about the hit & run. 85 in the Carolinas is just as bad as that perimeter used to be back then and worse, 55, 65, 70 doesn't matter. Folks in the slow lane have good temperaments cause they will be pushed to 80 in the slow lane. No slow downs except on Future 73 N of Greensboro somewhere! Some #*(^% drove his electricity hog on a nice cool crisp sunny day. Dang, didn't he know better than that? The thick black smoke ahead looked like a tanker had exploded but not enough smoke. median was melted up to the barrier 10 feet in, both lanes melted, outside perimeter scorched twenty feet out. Half the car was obviously melted too. There was not a second vehicle involved. Just crazy that they are allowed on the roads. Was on that and others from 10 yesterday until I got home at 3:30 this morning. Got my scripts from Clt then the N side of the lake from Atlanta for my mower and some spirits I could not store. Had to wait for certain things to occur before I could delve into all involved with changing address and registration.
  20. OK it's @Tim Sr.'s fault

    Car Thread

Isn't there a catch him and win it prize! Though I don't believe it's the Mopar
  22. Something made me listen to some Floyd last night... then I gravitated elsewhere. To an LP that a friend turned us onto about five years ago! Now it isn't just the first snappy tune, take it like Pink Floyd and listen to the whole thing in sequence... voila you've been somewhere without leaving home!! This guy sang on the above: NICE!! Then back with Nick and his guys:
  23. Fantastic Progressive Release you've got there @Tim Sr.. Paul you need to hear Miracles out of Nowhere and Opus Insert if you never have!!
  24. He looks so sleepy... and again the colors. Forgot to mention previously the textures that show up in a good shot do a lot!! Just like the music I'm listening to so far today.
  25. I tol ya guys so last night. So guess it was a yes, no, no doh?
