  1. More cool and unique turntable images. Ones with the separate motor always have a neat design. @MicroMara your whole stereo is a one of a kind rig! @billybob it will be good to have you spinning more in here again.
  2. Good one @Pete H Wasn't shooting for that but things with me and my TX bud just happen lately! https://pepperheadsforlife.com/the-scoville-scale/ Peppers are good food. Still think there was a very strange onset of this "thing" and then the lies, then the facts about it could not have originated in nature. Can always hope that we're not in Revelations... but we are. And hope that it doesn't get near any of us for that matter. But can't listen to the talking heads droning on about this either.
  3. Sweet & salty is nice sometimes. Used to always have leftover dates after the baking here around the holidays. Things changed so I bought a small box of them to go with all the mixed nuts!
  4. The Dj played these guys a while back. After listening I couldn't resist, got the purple mixed LP, then the little green one and now the yellow one wound up on my front porch a little while ago. Me and my one shot are taking it for a spin and whoo hoo it's fun! If you listen to "Mr. Wright" Which John Lennon song does it sound like? Sean has a lot of his music in him! Short LP, lots of music, now I know why the price was low.
  5. Our Publix near here has Wolf Chili all the others changed and when I fry or grill hot dogs I use that now. Don't wanna clean up a lot for a hot dog meal. Beans or without it is good!
  6. Just a job I've got to do! & I love it... not always.
  7. Drat, I'll need a heads up. Can't perform up to snuff on the &$@n coreg, have to stop it for a day ahead of time.

    The Other Discs

Tell you what @MicroMara! After dark when I can.... I'll pull it up on youtube for a toast for you for smoothing out the soundwaves coming out of those pretty RF-7s!! Don't totally get it but those guys with their Jubilees and modded MWMs sure do!
  9. "It will Happen" Things will occur in the future that will have an affect on the conditions that I live in.

If he can cover Nat King Cole well I would dig it too!
  11. I'll wear a respirator when I step in a hospital where there are people from all over this globe that are sick. And I'll start when it gets here. Other than that.... maybe if I step in deer do in my old boots and wear them to the store people will keep their distance! Hadn't been chased in decades now anyhow!
  12. Wow @codewritinfool that is awful. Went in to the hospital for kidney-stone blockage once and got a staff blob on the back of my leg where it hit that bed without paper over it. Looked real bad just two days later. Called the drs office that treated me and they helped me out, that was about a year before I heard about that mrsa. @sunburnwilly That footage looks like it's for a cheesy horror movie, but darn, that is super bad if it's real. & the upset lady the other day goes to show that it could be. I'd say it is obviously not sci-fi. None of the paint stores had the paper dust masks with the metal crimp over the nose. Actually none at all and I went to four of them around this side of town this am. My respirator from the 90s took the disc type cartridges. We both have to go to the hospital frequently and with the half dozen or more languages I have heard just at the transplant lab... I won't go next month unless what I ordered gets here in time. Heck I'm still fighting snot that my brother gave me during the holidays of 2015. He was wheezing so bad that he whistled in his sleep breathing then. Drs know I take immunos but won't give enough antibiotics to overcome them to work on me. Tampa and Orlando in the early 2000s had great doctors, I could only guess what happened.
  13. It takes limes to make corona disappear, 3/$1 isn't as good as it used to be but I'm stocking up & those "dust masks" you pickup at the doctors office? Ask yourself does your intake come through the fabric or between the skin of your face and the edges of the 3 cent mask? Saw a respirator pic somewhere the other day. That's the only thing to stop the small particles... coal-tar paint and germs.
  14. Would be nice! Instead of all the people that they attack!

Only Kiss that I ever bought. It got eaten years ago, & I picked up another copy last year.
  16. Story is getting more centered and more mainstream now. Remember barry bringing folks from the east and putting them in every county in the lower 48? Some of his State Dept. people disobeyed the Centers For Disease Control and brought it here https://nypost.com/2020/02/22/dont-buy-chinas-story-the-coronavirus-may-have-leaked-from-a-lab/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/coronavirus-diamond-princess-cruise-americans/2020/02/20/b6f54cae-5279-11ea-b119-4faabac6674f_story.html https://www.annistonstar.com/free/passengers-from-coronavirus-quarantined-ship-to-be-housed-at-anniston/article_a6034ede-55a6-11ea-9f8a-eb3c8638550a.html
  17. That rc plane moves and sounds kinda like a bumblebee! The Sikorsky Sky Crane is something to see and to feel maneuvering around. In the 90s staining/painting the Polynesian at Disney they replaced the rooves of all the buildings. We'd have to take long lunches the days the helicopter was bringing the large raised ridge roofing from an island to the setup place on each building for the roofers to use. Yea, remember how you could feel the 60s cars coming? That copter was powerful and built back then too, shook the ground better than a 426 Hemi-Bird did! Over a dozen per side it was that they used.
  18. Yes, can't believe that I didn't mention the tank-killers up above. Those and the B-52, the DC-3 some of the best ever made!! Was that a Saber or a Starfighter. Not sure, but there was one brought to the park when I was about five... it still had the seat, gauges and wiring for a couple weeks afterwards. Took it away a decade ago. That was after the dimwits took over. Veterans are murders to them and war relics encite bad thoughts or something like that.
  19. Nice air show P-51 can still fly fast enough for the F-22 at slow speeds. P-38 Lightning was one of my favorite models. RAF, a Phantom, F-35, & a Saber that still flies!
  20. Agreed 100% if "they" can talk about heat index and chill factor then the light breeze on us humans can make a big difference. Had to get a few when living in central FL for that decade, now 600 miles north I can't live without them. One in each room except the bathrooms have fart-fans that can suck a breeze out of the vent without the air handler even running. The whole house exhaust fans are in a lot of the homes around here built around 1960, pop the windows open a bit and running those I think are even better than a ceiling fan at times!
  21. @BigStewMan We've used one here for about three years now. Used DampRid since FL but the formula changed and it wasn't very good after that. Plus our monsoon-like weather here that I've mentioned before. The one we had took a dump last month, literally water on the floor. To the curb without hesitation. Got a rubber mat to place under the new one, an LG 70 pint/24hrs that is marked way down now because they're only making 50 pint ones now. It's not really high db noisy but it could be an aggravating sound. Have to set this one to run for a certain number of hours for it to turn completely off when it reaches the set %. It works well, especially since I've put it near the air return. Not really cheap but it works so much quicker & better than using the ac. If this one lasts two or three years it would be cheaper than $15 monthly for those crystals monthly and works better. The electricity probably makes it more. My congestion is improved greatly when the humidity is lower than 50%. Since I have acquired an aversion to taking pills, I prefer this route. https://www.abt.com/product/111143/LG-Black-PuriCare-Dehumidifier-UD701KOG3.html It is not matte finished like the image, it is high gloss like the piano here.
  22. Gorgeous turntable @Wardsweb like your "handle" between the floating split plynth!
  23. Our water that we cook with has gone through three undersink filters, that rig feeds the fridge that has another internally So water for coffee and tea and ice cubes are very clean here!! I'm a big fan of this Elijah Craig after one shot!
