  1. Yes @dtel that show is a good`un. Was surprised when I first saw it that one of the kings of top 40 had so much fun with all the different musicians. Sometimes it looked like he had to work at it to make the episode work but he is a musician! That's just about Beach Music! Shag On Brothers & Sisters!!
  2. Gorgeous here today 1:00pm and it just got to 80 humidity is 42% from the neighborhood w underground station. Cut the lawn day for sure.
  3. Yessirre Bob, You were partially accredited for that Nazareth above!
  4. Good one @dtel that was one of the best "SkunkWorks" ever! >150,000 hp for that motor A new one is in the works with the ramjet engines. https://www.defenceaviation.com/2013/11/lockheed-martin-sr-72-specification-technical-data.html
  5. @Full Range Can't explain how Mr. Alvin Lee hasn't been in my top five list of favorite guitarists except to say I started the first grade in `69. Some artists I was exposed to through my buds in my late teen years, but I did know of and hear a lot of Ten Years After from radio. That seven minute piece above with my first mug of coffee on a late start Tues. was just right!
  6. Then there was this Bob last year or maybe Dave that posted this and I kept it `cause I could! ended up with an attitude
  7. Long story short I listened to a song on youtube after I looked up an LP I was gonna buy. Use a modified Host File on my pc so I don't get that kind of clickbait most of the time. I can't help but click on something on the right side there. Got a couple hours to do nothin' I don't want to do. Started with putting up a vid to go with the record I put up here. ended up with: Then I saw Les Paul with Billy Gibbons.... one of my faves. That's the speed I'm running tonight. Where've you been off to?
  8. Noticed that a lot of my old records have the best or better tunes on side two, always heard that your metabolism changes every seven years! Cool Sleeve! last song side two:
  9. Right back at ya!
  10. These are the next two, that was a brand new lambo a few years back designed with those F-22 esque angles. Somehow they got to race and the car hung with the fighter until it went airborne. Can't help it cool or an old big block with a wild cam just trip my trigger.... always have!
  11. Ah H&ll. You are Right! on that one, the one off of 77, like 15 miles from downtown was replaced last decade... my bad. I've lived here again since `03 and I forgot about that one. Saw Disturbed (what a show) there where it stands once for free during one of the festivals downtown right after I moved back here. Don't go downtown much anymore.
  12. The F35s are tough little planes, but that F-22 is sexy like a Lambo. Mid 90s had an apartment just east of the runway at the Daytona airport. After a weekend show an F-16 flew just enough away from the airport to be over me and Apollo out for a walk, he turned the nose straight up jammed the throttle and we felt the concussion as I saw the fireball get smaller then the sonic boom and couldn't even tell where that jet was then! not my pics! F16
  13. The new Knights stadium if it was last year... off of I-77 just south of me here with the baseball water tower! Their original burned down in the 90s, the glow was so bright that evening I could see the fire from 5 miles south, drove my bike up there and two blocks away the heat was searing..... had to back up another block. It was all wooden built in the 30s and very dry stuff. When you had to make a pit stop on quarter beer knights it was literally a forty foot trough on a wall, folks weren't as uptight way back when. Frank Sinatra christened our new ACC Tournament Coliseum on my side of town early in 91 or 92. In `03 I was taking a shower one Sunday morning and an explosion shook this house. They leveled it to build one half as big downtown. dim-wits. Our original on Independence Blvd/Frwy
  14. They did here that year must have been something going on with them or the promoter or something. They did a less than 90 minute medly, it stunk. Time prior to that they were good here. Saw them at the Omni above where that cool train station is in Atlanta same tour....they were awesome played all the old stuff each song ten percent longer!
  15. Blues did look way off yesterday. At least the home town guys get a party tonight at the ONLY Charlotte Coliseum. That rinky-dink thing in the middle of the freakin road downtown does not count!!
  16. *I hate you! Know you're lucky to have the lady that you do But I'd bet she knows she is the lucky one too... look at those!! Super nice! *not really, just wish that was in my soggy back yard right now!

    The Other Discs

The Wolves do an intro for their three Calder Cup Finals games at home against my Checkers. Wolves in a well lit cavern pushing a puck around blasting "Jump Start My Heart" by the Crue. Checkers knocked em dead in five.
  18. & the reward at the end of it too! Don't know how to make that but I've made cornbread with the fajita seasoned pulled pork in it before that was similar. It's just not the heavy moist masa like fantastic tamales. Burritos, tacos, frioles and rice today... with orange, lemon and lime slices to cut the ripe j a p s. Same thing tomorrow here also!
  19. & I'll be watching it happen from here!! Called it yesterday, I've been half right already!
  20. Really don't know, @oldtimer a Polar Bear is more suited for a team closer to the pole. You watched them play a little, they are a real bear to handle! Check out this promo from back in Feb., I've tried to get my hands on one , they doled them all out at one game back then. Now godzilla for a mascot... That's how they trounced the AHL this season. Translates to good things in the future for the Hurricanes!
  21. We've got a Bill Evans in the family... not a pianist, but his son Bill is an excellent musician, earns his living off of it!
  22. Heck, it'll take me that long to look up all the jazz from last night and sample it!
  23. Got an "E" just now (overnight) for the 45 version of that Mingus on sale...... sold out already at elusivedisc, the primo 45 version is $230. yikes
  24. It's all that semi-virgin vinyl he picked up recently. He really does need a radio transmitter now!
