  1. Nonsense?? How about calling it immoral and criminal activity, "yea that's the ticket".
  2. All gone! Made the minimum 20 oz twice since 5:30. Think I'm going to do it once more, didn't top 45 degrees here yesterday. Local (weather underground) in this neighborhood had 23 at 6. 7:00 I opened the curtain at the sink and our thermometer showed 18. Yeah I know, but I live in the original ACC territory. It is nearing Christmas and it's nippy outside, the way it should be. It will take a little more than two pounds of coffee a month when it's like this. I'm sure that I'll consume 85% of it too!
  3. Derek plays like he's playing with the Allman Bros.
  4. I spy Mr. Trucks there too!
  5. Aren't they! Cute kiddo! Nice collection, do you run them all at the same time?
  6. Or a caregiver to a parent changing before your eyes.... Similar and different at the same time. Maybe that's why I thought what I thought. #9
  7. Sorry @dirtmudd you know what I read... and that was your normal brainwave pattern!!
  8. Worn out right now had to have some fun with you @Westcoastdrums! My retort was obviously sarcasm too, & it's the closest I'll get to rap! I do like Everlast that was different than everything when it came out! Four hours raking and the cleaning up the place under/behind the chindos where I'm putting the leaves. YellowJackets, little bast*$ds, how am I supposed to know they live under that volunteer nandina I'm trying to dig up *^%#^ Owwwww!
  9. Oh H*ll Yea!!! I love rap music. Have a listen used to have this rap cassette must have been good someone that stayed the night once and took it home with `em. Doubt he was confused, it's pretty unique stuff "Whitey Ford Sings the Blues" was the onešŸ¤£
  10. Hang in there @Dave1290 "It Can't Rain All the Time"
  11. Those Wonderful "pismashios" (you would have to have been there!) are good. Love the salt & pepper ones, BJ's has good deals on the 3# bags this time of year.
  12. First week of this month saw this on our back porch again eating the leaves off of things I can't get to grow because of him and his doe! No red leaf lettuce out there right now!! Pretty sure he's one of the ones that hung out here all of last spring, this was in March last year. Here, six miles south of downtown, 30 miles to the outskirts of town from here now! Scrawny for Snow Creek NC, but in a medium sized metro region he's not full grown yet either. This was in March this year one morning when there were off and on flurries, three does, two bucks real young.
  13. Hello again folks! I recall Amy had a good voice and use of it, but never really listened.. I will soon This LP hasn't been brought out in a long time, I got it before the radio ragged the tunes out for me and everyone else. Sounds dated like some 80s movies but not in a bad way like those same movies do.
  14. Those feet do look nice. I need to get industrious and put a fourth foot on my strange tripod turntable!
  15. Ah h#!!, You got me @dtel! I always thought that was hunting!
  16. Great price for some very good headphones. Of the two brands I like (that I've heard) Sennheiser is one of them.
  17. @dtel Lures in the top pockets, bait in the lower ones!

    The Other Discs

Kind of, but not after getting the Heresy IIs. To me, it is all more pronounced and more rich and lifelike sounding. With some titles, the background just goes away. I've got that a lot more with the most recent system. Their half speed vinyl is great. This copy I got last year in a lot of almost ten and got a deal on them to boot!

    The Other Discs

Morning @dirtmudd so you're finally letting go of your extras? Nice to see one of my all time favorite bands getting some attention, they are good musicians. This is a cut above other cds, although someone mentioned they weren't impressed with the company's products on the first page here. The sound from this cd is more full than my original high mileage vinyl of this is! Plus when I take it to the car in a few minutes it upgrades that system immediately!
  20. Arrggghhh! That jacket, imagine the colors! I cannot conceive it, it had been deleted from my consciousness!
  21. I like this way better, incorporating the third piece in there could reduce any resonance even more. If the top of one of your cabinets can hold that it is interesting. How are you addressing the feet needing to be two different heights from the bottom of that proposed plinth? Or is it possible that four low ones under the turntable would be able to keep the whole unit balanced? Not sure how the weight of that top piece impacts this.
  22. Dude, grandma's sausage/cheese balls are excellent and easy to modify with other cheeses or even (gasp, šŸ¤¢huurrrl!) chicken, turkey, cod sausage whatever those anti American foodies eat! Shrimp Creole ! very simple but very tasty and light
  23. A big part of the holiday feasts that our once large family had was the finger food that everybody munched on during the game. Never made the cheese ball, chex-mix ingredients have all changed, can't even find Cheese Tid-Bits since the 80s! Helluva Good Bacon Horseradish dip made me start getting the potato chips out again. This is up next, took a coffee break after doing the pie at 6 freakin am already For all of you carnivores that don't already know about this. I won't survive this time of year without a couple batches, and yea it called for mild sausage for the young-ins Neeses Hot is what I use when the kids aren't here.
  24. Pie shell isn't big enough. I had an overflow I cooked, didn't cover the edges so busted them off, but it sure does go good with the breakfast. **breakfast = good coffee good coffee = good food
