  1. xpx64 Eset Nod32/64 2.xxx Kerio Personal Firewall Hosts MVPS That was the height of what I've though of as the best. It was a machine that I could control!
  2. I had thirty years of RUSH through my H2's and I was wowed back then... I get it bud!! I'm one of the ones that never delved into their 80s-90s stuff myself. Have Signals, Power Windows, and Hold Your Fire though. Different... as always but alright! This should be dozens of videos, I've tried three times to get it in here!
  3. RUSH? If you can find DMM at a decent price, which they haven't been since about six months after they came out, GET IT. My Forte IIIs have a really nice soundstage and separation. Those Direct to Metal Mastering have a newfound feel to that soundstage! It's unreal. They were thirty at that time like a lot of other regular releases. Quadruple that six months later. Only thing was the treble was increased, I was running on flat so I bumped up the bass to 12:30.
  4. The internal portion of an integrated amp or an old receiver that lets you hook the turntable up to it and use it!
  5. Love that back and forth! Not to mention @Klipsch104db playing a lot of my favorites that I think I still own... lately!

    What I Got Today!

Well, my gravel didn't work out in time. Their truck couldn't fit in the hood. Got another says he can that lives on the other side of the hill I'm on. Three colors of rocks. Gray 200ft driveway, tan where the small yard would be but won't, and another next to the house where flowerbeds would be for someone else. Planning that out next week. Last week it was these top-dog ceiling fans that aren't anymore and cost a good bit less. Today on the way home it was much improved tires from the lower than tigerpaw that they slapped on my ride to cut their losses in the sale of it. While I was at it, asked the guy if their were any deals on mags. Yes and order made that wasn't ever paid for or picked up. That took a couple weeks but this is the result. Before 9.3" wide tires, after 10.4" Before the stock Acura "Shark" wheels. Now nice looking ones that won't be incredibly hard to wash!
  7. I learned something today. I ejected that 8mm kidney stone without realizing it in that 2nd 2 am Saturday morning episode No wonder I've been like I have lately! No stent but I left boulders all the way from 40 miles north of VTech back home today For anybody that realizes the tell-tale signs of having them? Drink Not from concentrate OJ. The particular type of Citric potassium in it does break the "garden variety" k-stones up. I know it's difficult with all the bad oranges in it from the other hemisphere that put the awful taste in the $5 qt oj lgb. Think of it as what it is... a partial remedy for those darn rocks! Ended up forcing it down and with the flowmax I'm better until the bills roll in!
  8. @pnort43 What Shakeydeal said is good advice like usual from him! When I changed over I did the preamp/cartridge together to match up better. Used the opportunity to put tubes into my SS rig and experiencing that changed my perspective involving music reproduction!
  9. Morning folks, well I sure do feel a whole lot better except I'm just waiting to get my walking papers. I do not know if a stent was put in but it was on the list of possibilities and the paperwork prior to going in. What I've seen in the bowl does leave me to believe it's possible that the doc did put one in. Supposed to be freezing out there right now and then 76 Saturday 73 on Easter. So with the comings and goins that I'll post about in the what I got today thread soon will cover this whole week I'm sure! Again, I appreciate the thoughts. Set my way this past month, especially the folks that pm'd me about this. They might have got an earful in turn, sorry. But would not now because I could tell you for the first time since February 17th at 2:00 a.m. I've got no physical pain!!
  10. Yep he's got a way with those strings that I love!
  11. Never heard a cover of that song that I ever truly appreciated. I get that groups want to "make it their own". It was part of the Himalayan ride at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion when it came out until they demolished the place decades later. RamJam just can't be covered properly or hasn't benn by the right band that I've heard yet.
  12. It's probably made from an original. Question is, when they put that out in the 70s was it analog from start to finish. Contrary to what I've heard from others here my few from back then do sound better than the regular copies and vice-versa with friends copies!
  13. Well, the forecast called for rain over this entire region up until after I saw it in the afternoon. Left early and did 90 something miles in two hours. It's five degrees cooler now that I've traveled west. So I get a 2-hour wait and then hopefully no more stones for a while.
  14. We used to also! So on second thought, being in the hills ain't so bad! Got to find somewhere to plant veggies, rocks, rocks everywhere!
  15. Dang Dave, have you been to DaNang or some other jungle lately??

  17. The bill is in the mail @MicroMara
  18. Rode with these guys today, wish all my cd's sounded as good as my CAKE compilation from the 90s! Off-key, Off Kiltered It always seemed premeditated to me with what's bouncing on the sofa! I'd bet that they made Jerry smile too
  19. Sorry I missed you Bruce, that is even awful to just hear about. Short staffed on weekends is what someone else told me that overheard the whole thing and got the chuckles. Yep things are different around here. Darn youngins don't listen anywhere now. They're self absorbed, righteously indignant, and have the attention span of gnats. Palpably rude to folks older than they are. Thanks a ^#$@ing lot public schools !! Somebody teach them how to use a telephone please!!! I answer Hello! They say hello and then are quiet. I've told a couple they called me and should state the purpose of the call and identify themselves. A couple have snickered at that or almost chuffed like a dog. I've stopped trying to educate them, just count down 3,2,1 and they hang up = get blocked I'll be glad when this pain is over, be in an all-round better mood too! -rant over-

  21. I've seen you post LPs by Can in the past. Nice little laid back prog I just listened to. Spot on with the message too!
  22. Aren't you... die Tür öffnen
  23. Like I've said before... Gorgeous museum piece!
  24. I'm glad it's not this week! Got lots that I'm supposed to make happen, other stuff happening also, desk should finally get here and I'll put the tv up again to stay as my monitor. Get the ekg for the procedure? Tried Saturday, a guy there at the small rural hospital got mad and wanted to know who sent me to get it done on a weekend. Ay yai yai! I told him again, I'm getting used to this new world up here, hospitals did not close up on the weekends in the cities. & that no one told me which day to show up, like I said when I was first asked. *I do miss parts of what city-life used to be before though!
  25. Glad I'm eating my Sunday dinner now! That would make me hungry. I was surprised a couple decades ago when I found seafood tacos. Ordered tuna with mango/hab salsa once, they were addictive!
