thanks all, Still no word, communications are completely down. The salvation army has an emergency radio net set up. I tried to put info on that but I'm not sure if the data was accepted, the site was obviously getting alot of hits. Someone suggested ham radio operators might be able to get info in/out. I saw some video, it looks like her house is toast, but I can't figure out if the hotel she is in is ok. This is making me crazy (ier).

My 68 year old mom stayed on the gulf coast in Gulfport MS, (Beach View Inn Bestwestern )- corner of Hwy 49 and 90 Communications are down. Please, anyone with any info on the state of the Hotel, or can check on her Please Please let me know.
