  1. "Green River" CCR's second of THREE LP's released in 1969 behind the driving force of John Fogerty who wrote and put them together before the rest of the band even had time to think! "Bad Moon Risin, and Green River" were the backbone but other's like "Lodi" got some play from that local DJ! "Williy and the Poor Boys" released in November was their last of 1969. "Down on the Corner, Fortunate Son and Cotton Fields" hit the charts hard just as all of their music did. They made it a point of filling 1969 FULL of THEY'RE music...
  2. Just a heads up. If ya don't know already you can find out just follow the link. $315 million divided by 145 million filers . . . . woo hoo! https://www.ftc.gov/enforcement/cases-proceedings/refunds/equifax-data-breach-settlement?fbclid=IwAR11AUt-wQzTZgmoqx3D6dV8khJK82b2-XHdDgPURs9zdz4pp73zdEqyeL8
  3. Kinda like a one-armed paper hanger? Remember use chain, lotsa chain and impress the masses w/your work! You've got this! 😂
  4. I DO have a few exceptions to my double LP "boring" rule. Oh heck yea ya gotta have exceptions to EVERYthing or else! This one is one of them released in 1975 comprised of their best from 1970-75. They just NEVER stopped crankin 'em out!
  5. Released 5 years after her death this collection of songs is almost always my first "go to" album when I want to hear her songs even though I have all of her albums. Great collection of goodies! 27 is waaaaay too young to die but she always did reach for the stars in so many ways! Nuff said!
  6. The Jeff Beck group? "Rough and Ready" released in 1971 is the first of two LP's by the SECOND Jeff Beck Group! Jeff Beck as a songwriter contributed more songs to this album than he ever had before or ever will. That SHOULD speak volumes IF you can appreciate Jeff Beck's work. Great album though. Cozy Powell just cooks those drums!
  7. Just think Jimmy Choo shoes Emile or whatever that guy's name was! billybob, Emile will be selling them soon sooooo... 😂
  8. Haven't heard this in forever so salivating a bit. ELP's 5th studio and a double album "Works Vol. 1," which was released in 1977 after a three-year break from their 1974 "Brain Salad Surgery" tour. Each artist got a side to do whatever they wanted with side 4 featuring songs from the group as one. The artist's backed each other's work on every side but the artist got to do whatever they wanted. Carl Palmer even grabbed Joe Walsh to play in his lil rocker "L.A. Nights." IMO "double" albums get a lil stagnant by the time you hit side 3 but this one's so very different. You hear each artist "do THEIR thing." Funny how Keith Emerson even used the London Philharmonic Orchestra with John Mayer. Yea, it's funny alright but it's an excellent album!
  9. How was the reaction when you pulled into the Courthouse parking lot not to mention your law office? I'm just having a lil snicker visual here. lolol
  10. Too stinking hot for coffee but I'm thinking about it. This Diet Dr. isn't werkin! Thought this would be a nice play this morning. Emerson, Lake & Palmer from 1970 and their first release. I won't get into the personalities of the 3 but they ALL meshed so darn well. Keith Emerson on keyboards, Greg Lake with the vocals and bass and Carl Palmer on the drums. One of the most successful progressive rock bands of the 70's w/9 Gold here in the US and worldwide sales of more than 48 million copies. They just did it ALL! Love my neighbors! 😂 😎
  11. POCO's second (1970) and the first to feature Timothy B. Schmit on bass with the group. Jim Messina and Richie Furay just JAM on this LP. Yup, it was "Country Rock" and this LP hangs in the POCO exhibit in the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.
  12. Sweet BOC LP John! Always enjoy that one! Bad Company works too!
  13. The original LP was made in 1968 but mine was sooo worn I picked up this remake from 1970 too. Iron Butterfly from San Diego helped start it all. So many of those West coast groups. One of the top 40 selling LP's of all time. Heya Mossyone how goes? .
  14. Yes, Sir! Monday delivery he said... Mmmmm ok. Soooo, I back out of the garage a bit ago and there's a suspicious looking box. Musta caught a tail wind from his place to here is all I can say. The Ghost in the Sting is just that! Sneaky and fantastic! Double thumbs up oldtimer ya killed it again! Thanks! Wait, what? Why did I just thank a man for burning all the hair off of my tongue??? j/k, j/k it's GREAT!
  15. Richard Wright, Pink Floyd keyboardist? Yea, that dude cranked this one out (his first) in between gigs w/Floyd just to relax! Written and produced by himself in 1978 and truly a classic IF you like Pink Floyd! It's one to look for! 😎
  16. October 22, 1969 and their second LP was even BETTER than their first. Their FIRST #1 in both the UK and US! Definitely one of the greatest and most influential albums of all time. 12 TIMES Platinum in 1999! 20 years ago? (insert sonic boom here)
  17. Rick Wakeman. Yea Rick Wakeman... His 4th album "The Myths & Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table" released in 1975 hit #2 in the UK but only #21 in the US. He could definitely work those keyboards!
  18. I just heard she was the lil hottie on the rock is all. Me listen to her? Yea, about like you would. lol
  19. Evenin Paul. Listening to a lil Vera Blue?
  20. And that's the REST OF THE STORY!
  21. I truly enjoy sharing with others. If people see something that I give a double thumbs up to it's usually good BUT what's good to me might not be good to someone else. Maybe they'll try it if they see it somewhere and go MAN he was right but then again they may say he SUCKS! (Yes, thank you all for the forthcoming comments.) Music is also subjective like so many other things. I also learn a great deal here with you guys and I know I won't retain it all but we're all here every day just sitting back and watching how things sort. I'm just an old two-channel kinda guy. Always have been and always will be. 50+ years and sure I'm proud of it. They said all kinds of things promoting every new thing that came out over the years but I KNEW albums would never die! So share away, that's why FullRange started this thread I hope! lol
  22. Eh site was down for me last nite so I just pulled some out and tried to put some away. When I go, I do it the right way, which to me is cover to cover. The ONLY way to truly get a feel for the artist I think. Dang it! You and that DJ stuff... You guys know what I have here but, truth be known, my collection is like family to me. I'm just a proud PaPa! lol If someone likes my kids or learns something from them then it's a good thing imo. Kids will be kids yanno! lol
  23. Havin a lil vision right now after that pizza... Oregano my butt! 😂 Jeff Beck's third solo album from 1976. One great guitarist who can definitely go places... Never enough of him! "Good bye pork pie hat?" What a great song from 1959. ALWAYS in his shows! Now let's turn that page (no, not Jimmy) backward to 1969 when Jeff used Rod Stewart on some vocals and Ron Wood on bass... "Beck-Ola" just nailed it! Even included a couple Elvis hits! Great album and i KNOW it's not the pizza! Imma even thunkin @Ceptorman is gonna be parked in front of him soon! I KNOW he'll be jammin! Central Nervous System BREAK! Just JAMMIN and knowin the neighbors aren't pissed off! Carry on! 😎
  24. Here we go! Maybe... Their second LP from 1970! Just a few from Marillion and their "Brief Encounters" release in 1986! "Misplaced Childhood" was Marillion's 3rd album released in 1985. Fish o Fish NEVER drop acid because the things that happen could become an album... Now just a bit of King Crimson's "Discipline" Lp released in 1981. These guys can totally take over your afternoon if you let them... 😎 These guys have been around a while so I pulled out their first US pressing of their 1969 LP. Yes with "Yes!" They ALWAYS keep it simple! The second LP by Paul Rodgers and the boy's from 1975. "Good Lovin Gone Bad, Feel Like Makin Love and Shooting Star" hit the big time w/so many of us. #3 in both the US & UK charts, certified gold and just about everything else you could think of. I awarded it my "Eye of the Newt" award cause Newt's can kill ya! That award is sacred w/me! That LP killed a LOT of people! Pizza's here! Yay!
  25. I've shot all kinds of stuff from F1 down to Motocross and to me it all boils down to a couple of things. Who's running the fastest and will it keep running. The other factor is weather and are your balls bigger than his? lol
