Hello all.... I have a pair of RF5's, a RC3 II, an RSW12, Denon DCM270 5-disc CD Changer, and a Denon AVR4802 w/touchscreen remote for sale, all in excellent condition, for anybody in the Indy area that is interested. Equipment must go !!! First $2250 takes it all........

I have a RSW12 that I run +5db, on carpeted floor. That is click 9 of 40.

The service tech will probably have to reflow the solder joints, on the convergence IC board. It is a common problem on Mits. RPTVs. I have a 55819 that suffered from the same problem. Cost me $150 for the tech to remove the board, and resolder all the joints. Had it calibrated, and the picture blows away DLP or LCD TVs, even in 480i...

If you are comfortable with taking the cover off, here is a suggestion.... I had an old Technics CD player, that would skip on low frequencies. Somewhere on the disc transport unit, there should be 4 phillips head adjustment screws. One is for tracking, one for laser intensity (focus), one is for error correction. You can experiment with adjusting them. I did on mine, and it never skipped again. In fact, sound quality, and stereo seperation seemed to improve.... Just a thought ! It worked for me.....

My question basically was... Which s better for the sub amp; High input, low sub level...., or low input, high sub level...

I have my RSW12 set, via Avia's 70db setting, with the exception that I run it about 4db's hotter. My question is... Does it hurt the sub, having the level on the sub down, and the preamp level up, or should I turn the level of the sub higher, and turn down the preamp ?? The reason I have the preamp turned up, is so the sub will wake up, without having to crank the volume. Just wondering if I need to worry about hurting the sub amp...

Is there a way (us, as the public), to get in CEDIA ??
