  1. Thanks for you replay. Seems like i cant find any 6DJ8 /E88CC/6922 NOS Mullard Blackburn. Do you have any idea where can i find them
  2. Hello guys, I have Pathos classic one MKIII amplifier driving Klipsch RP-600m speakers. The stock tubes are JJ E88CC which i find a bit relaxed to my taste, so i would like to try some other tubes. My priorities would be: 1. Bold rich and forward male/female vocals 2. Wide soundstage 3. Crisp and airly sound 4. Extended LF The first point is most important right now for me because with the stock tubes i have a feeling that the vocals are always standing like one meter away from the microphone. I would like to spend under 100$ if possible for a pair as this will be my first tubes. I've done some basic research and i came to the following options: 1. GENALEX - GOLD LION E88CC / 6922 - 46$ each 2. JAN-PHILIPS 6922 LOW NOISE - 40$ each 3. REFLECTOR 6H23P-EB / 6922 - 60$ each 4. Telefunken Black Diamond E88CC / 6922 - 54$ each 5. Matsushita E88CC (hard to find) - na Does anyone have experience with any of this tubes? Would you suggest me something else? Thanks
  3. Hello guys, After a decent research, I'm thinking of getting a Line Magnetic LM-211iA for my Klipsch RP-600M. Does anyone have any experience with these model? Are there any better deals for around 1000$? Thanks
  4. I agree, they will sound different to different ears. But, are there any objective differences among those models. Would it be worth to spend more and purchase the MT-34. My current system is: Project debut carbon with ortofon 2m Blue, Marantz NA8005 as digital source and SS Integreted Marantz PM7003.
  5. Thanks for your replay. Most of the time i listen at low volume level. So, how loud the amplifier will perform doesn't matter much to me
  6. Hello Guys, Recently Steve Guttenberg have reviewed the Boyuu Reisong A10 tube integrated right after Zero fidelity review. Both reviews are positive and can be seen on youtube. So, i thought i should give it a try this Chinese 'gems' and pair it with my Klipsch RP600s especially that I've never owned a tube amp before. I made a small research before deciding which model should i go and i round my choice between these particular three models. SOUNDARTIST SA34A CLASS A Single Ended (price + shipping = 375$ with free shipping) REISONG A10 CLASS A Single Ended (price + shipping = 240 + 170 = 410$) REISONG BOYUU MT-34 Push-Pull (price + shipping = 520$ with free shipping ) As i say, I've never owned a tube amp before and i need you help me decide which model should i go for. Is it worth to pay hundred(s) bucks more for the MT-34 model as it is push pull design. Or whats the difference between the SA34A and A10 model. Which one should i go for. Thanks!
  7. Hi all, I'm thinking of doing the tweeter capacitors upgrade on the newer RP 600m model. Have anyone tried this?

  9. These are Herb Reichert last words: I strongly recommends to everyone to buy the magazine (8$) and read the whole report.
  10. The magazine is available now. Guess what ... Herb Reichert highly recommends these speakers :)
  11. Seems like stereophile is going to review the Klipsch RP600m in their next issue https://www.stereophile.com/content/usas-favourite-hi-fi-publication-announces-expansion-its-editorial-team
  12. Does any have impedance curve for RP160 or 600M ?
  13. I use b&w stav 24. They are awesome for the money (150$)
  14. Helllo guys, I'm considering Taga HTA-700B hybrid amplifier for my 600s. My local dealer offers it for ~500$. I've read many good reviews on the net but is anyone familiar with this brand?
  15. I bought mine RP600s week ago, although they are not full broke they already sound awesome. Incredible clarity and details especially with vocals. They sound twice bigger then they are and have huge sound stage. Bright or Harsh .. not in a moment, very good balanced highs. Seems like Klipsch made a winner speaker at this price range. I'm feeding them with Marantz pm7003 and NA 8005 - plenty of power
  16. Thank you very much, i will not make a hasty decision. I'm really pleased with the current setup also
  17. Thanks for you replay Maynard! 1) I don't listen at very loud levels as i live in an apartment . I listen mostly to Rock, Blues, Fusion and Contemporary Jazz. 2) The size of the room is roughly 35-40 square meters. My sweet place is in front of the speakers forming almost equilateral triangle with 2.75m side. 3) The room contains a lot of furniture but many smooth surfaces are also there. Here are some photos of my apartment link. The speakers on the images are Infinity's which are now replaced by the Klipsch's. 4) I prefer warmer and smooth sound but not too much laid back. I know that Klipsch speakers are known to be opposite (bright and forward) but decided to give them a try as no other speaker can provide such a details, vocals and cymbals. 5 )I'm located in South-East Europe and i don't have the opportunity to listen and return back As i said, I really enjoy the current setup but i miss a bit of boost in the lower frequencies. Thanks
  18. Hello guys, I just got a pair of Klipsch RP-600M bookshelfs today. Paired them with Marantz PM 7003/NA8005 i must say i'm impressed with the sound. However I've never owned a tube amp and would like to know how will they sound on a entry level budget friendly full valve or hybrid amp. Do you have any suggestions for a tube amp under 600$
  19. You are right, i didn't realize the price was per speaker Thanks
  20. Hello guys, Can someone explain me why the bookshelf RP-600M is more expensive compared to RP-6000F and even RP-8000F. I've compared the prices on several different online shops(BestBuy, CRUTCHFILED and Expo Electronics). RP-600M ~ 550$ RP-6000F ~ 400$ RP-8000F ~ 500-600$ Do i miss something? According to website spec, all share the same technology/design - titanium tweeter and new port design. IMO towers speakers should obviously be more expensive (additional drivers, more complex crossover, more material etc) Thanks
  21. How does the speaker behaves in terms of neutrality? I've not heard previous or this model, but many reviews point that in general Klipsch speakers struggle when it comes to neutrality. Is this case with 600s as well?
  22. Hi, What is the main difference between newer RP-600M versus older RP-160M bookshelf speakers. I've read many good reviews about 160s but can't find any for 600s. What model should i go for? Thansk
