These look nice...$550. Bremerton, WA

"Klipsch Heresy HIP speakers. Pro style cabinets, are stock orig cabinets and drivers. Electro Voice woofer. New Crites HEI crossover built to stock parameters. I have caps that can be used to attenuate the mid and tweeter if so desired (the HIP heresy runs them hot on purpose)"

I've lived in Boston, Atlanta, Seattle and Sydney...LA beach cities; Manhattan Beach, Hermosa, Redondo some of the best IMO (this from a guy from Portland, OR that had similar trepidations moving to LA).

The seller states "These are custom made to order"...looks like the top hat was made larger for the non-stock mid horn.
Would be interesting to see what he would charge for a couple of bass bins.

These Lepai amps are about half your budget...check out the reviews here on the site...you'll still need to add bluetooth...

Believe it or not, that was my "professional" job for awhile...
I worked at Epicure in Newburyport, MA (most commonly known as makers of EPI Speakers) back in the 80s. I was in "quality control".
I randomly pulled various components from the assembly lines and subjected them to 250 watts without any sort of protection until they failed.
Careful notes were taken regarding batch lot, relative humidity, power level at failure, etc. Back then, the tweeters drivers were hand assembled in house, so this was valuable data.
I have fond memories of ferro-fluid boiling out of the dome tweeters and woofer voice coil smoke shows.

unfair advantage...I have a set of the TP-200s
To be clear, no horn loading, these are bass reflex cabinets...

Looks like they added Lpads to treble and midrange?
Nice pair for the price IMO...

SOLD....thanks to all who showed interest

How do they sound to YOU in that space right now? Even, sub-optimized, they sound better than many speakers IMO...(particularly at normal listening volumes)
reminder: tight fitting corners (foam pipe insulation is commonly used) is important for low bass production...
