@Area 51 there´s also another DMM process in the market .....so called RESO Mastering RESO Mastering (Reference Sound Mastering), the high definition mastering procedure, provides significant acoustic improvements in transparency, dynamics, bass reproduction and depth differentiation. The music is gaining more atmosphere and emotion. To best transmit this musical experience, instead of a normal CD, a HQCD respectively to get even closer to the master quality, a UHQ-CD is used as sound carrier and instead of normal LP vinyl, 180g audiophile Virgin Vinyl.

DMM - this is the abbreviation for Direct Metal Mastering, which was introduced as a new technology by Teldec at the beginning of the 1980s and has since been used for many new records. In this process, some steps in the production of a record are bypassed, but essentially the pressing die (from which a finished LP will eventually be made) is manufactured differently. It now consists of a copper layer applied to a stainless steel plate. And this copper layer is now cut directly by the cutting stylus, hence the term direct metal mastering. Too complicated? That's right, it's very technical and you don't need to know the details. But what is important and here we are at the clear advantage of this DMM process: the highs usually sound much more brilliant and clear with a DMM than with a normally manufactured LP (lacquer foil, foil cut). Also, there are no pre-echoes due to this, because the hard metal is less susceptible to cutting than with the lacquer foil. Overall, you can also get more playing time on one LP side, which was quite a significant argument in the 80s.

there wasn´t any Octoberfest in whole of germany in 2021 ....we got the fourth covid wave in germany , even with approx. 70 % vaccinated population. The whole country is under the 2G rule ( Vaccinated or convalescent) in public life, 3G partially ( Vaccinated Convalescent, Tested ) unvaccinated are excluded from public life in the meantime, so it is with the personal rights to a free life in Germany.

Well Dave ..I spun these in the last few sessions btw..they all got the typical analog studio-master- sound of the 1970´tees, not like any new remastered vinyl from our days , but still very very good ...but i must confess ..the first two pics I spun with the Audio Technica SL 20A , the last one with my NoS Nagaoka Moving Iron Os 300 which is brand new, think it´s time for a new needle on the AT20SLA ..

As far as I know a power cable won´t be linked to a horn but to an amp. The speaker benefits from the sound improvement of the amp . It always comes to this kind of discussions when it comes to audio cables, so it´s better to close the box of pandora..

As a german private audio equipment cable manufacturer, I produce several hundred speaker cables, RCA cables as well as power cables every year. If my HiFi friends didn't hear any acoustic improvements on their systems, I certainly wouldn't be as successful. Should they all be wrong ? Here´re some rewies .. Loudspeaker cables * Since I have been using your cables, my amplifier has been able to really energize the loudspeaker .They now sound much more dynamic and resolve the entire frequency spectrum much more beautiful. * Since I use your speaker cables I have a much larger sound stage in the room. Now my horn speakers play silky smooth and with quite strong bass foundation. * I always had a very slight noise on my active speakers before. Since I use your power cables, the noise is gone. I can not believe it, because I have already tried so many power cables. * I never thought that power cables have such a positive impact on my amplifier and CD Player / Dac / Streamer RCA Cables * My CD player / DAC / Streamer now plays beautifully authentic.
