I have a an Avi 15 inch powered sub that I bought cheap and the amps not functioning. Does anyone know who might repair these?

Pardon my brevity, i thought that thebes was being cheeky. There really are Russian paper in oil capacitors! I just ;looked them up.

I read people swearing by different brands that were all pretty expensive. And I read posts by people swearing there was NO difference in any capacitor as long as the values were the same. So I was about to by Sonicaps when i found a post recommending some pretty inexpensive French caps called Solens. I'll have to pull up my invoice but I think they were less than 5 bucks a piece, with shipping the total was like 24 dollars. I got those. I LIKE THEM !

Here's my amateur efforts on the first pair.

The first pair I replaced them in is like a completely different set of speakers now. Those caps must have been seriously compromised as playing at sound levels I enjoy would put my amplifier into safe mode pretty quickly, now I can't drive them hard enough to get it to shut down. I'm looking up those Ukrankian caplasters now, I hope they aren't too expensive.
