Very nicely done DIY instructions Jeff (and Kelly). Should I expect the hi-rez version in the mail? I've already ordered almost all of the components for my first DIY project. I can probably add up my bills to see what's the total so far, if anyone is interested. Erik was kind enough to build my DRDs for me several months ago, but I've been practising soldering on my vintage amps for a while and I will take this up on my own this time. I am sure I'll be asking for help from time to time, but it should be a fun winter. Kudret

I've got Scott 310E and Fisher FM100B. Fisher has fuller sound, but Scott is more detailed. I am using Scott at the moment and Fisher is on the shelf. Scott is three times more expensive though. Kudret

artto, what's the diference between 333 and 555? Is it only 2 channel vs multi-channel, or something else? kudret

Than you, Erik. You may be right about the break-in period for the oil capacitors in DRDs as they improved substantially. I also followed Dean's and leo's instuctions and conditioned the cathode follower caps in Cary, and all these seemed to help. I now get more detail from the Cary+DRD combination, however Cary+DRD combination is not perfect yet, as the vocals are not as smooth as my vintage integrated units. I might be able to pick up a vintage fisher preamp (400C) this weekend and see how it will sound. Thanks for your concern, Erik. Kudret
