  1. Yup, but if your time comes and you sense you should stop, do it. If you value your life and the knowledge you carry... Have a good night, Rocketman.
  2. Oh my god, I ordered a pair of RSX-5's off an ebay powerseller called audioexcellence. They came in the same relativly compact box... and within that, their own individual unopened boxes. Paid $270 USD for them, +$30 USD for shipping. They crossed the boarder to my country, Canada, and now, the total cost of shipping them has exceeded $120, Not only that, but how do they justify this? I ask because I also ordered an RCX-4 Center channel for $170 USD, $30 shipping, and the total cost to ship this is now also around $100. Does that make sense? $100 shipping on a $170US item?
  3. Nothin' like tweaking out on speed with audio gear
  4. Not to mention, Smoothwall is probably one of the most secure options. For now I am using the XP firewall.
  5. Ahh geez, there is so many I guess wintersun's 2004 self titled album stands out as well as... gee.. I dunno, And oceans Cypher i could name too many
  6. omg, Dan Swano Psycroptic Edge of Sanity Dragonforce Christian Death Forgotton Tomb Melechesh Theres so many, In fact I listen to this type of music more than anything Its the best
  7. Where would I find and buy something like this.. I am about to order the monster cable upgrade kit for my PM5.1 ultras because i've recently upgraded my sats to RSX-5's and RCX-4 center... I dont think its wise to continue using the stock PM 5.1 wires when these speakers could somewhat benefit froma better alternative.. So, I am going to buy them from klipsch store but I was saddened to see they do not include upgrade wires in the same kinda design for the inputs and outputs of the soundcard and pm 5.1 amp respectivly. Anyone have any clues to if its worthwhile to buy such a cable, and if so, where I would find it? (Preferably longer and of higher gauge then the original stock cord) I run lossless music off an x-fi fatal1ty in bit-perfect 44.1khz mode. Thanks for the help ;0 Arent the Klipsch included input/output cables gold plated anyways?
  8. Heh, I know it sounds crazy but my SB X-fi Fatal1ty has guitar inputs and they are very clean lines with effects options too, surpringingly enough I was wonder how safe it is to run something like this threw some RSX-5's coupled with a RW-12 subwoofer and PM5.1 subwoofer... Risk damaging something or the crossover network a bad idea?
  9. Well, Here is the auction link http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5826767278&sspagename=ADME%3AL%3ARTQ%3ACA%3A1&rd=1 I'll ask klipsch, what specific email address or contact method should I be using? And yes, I too tend to wonder how they got a pair of brand new speakers seemingly untouched and factory sealed in and out to remove labels.
  10. I just picked up some RSX-5's from that seller, All seems fine except for the fact that is bothering me rite now... They do not seem to be fully magnetically shieled, they cause interference to my monitor when under 6 inches away. Klipsch states that they are supposed to be magnetically shielded, This means this particular seller with over 350 feedback on klipsch products may be selling fakes. How is this possible?
  11. No there is no shaking sound from inside, and it occurs on both speakers not just one. Also, there is no klipsch sticker with a serial number. I got these off ebay so they would have to have removed the serial number in order to sell the speakers.. Unless they are bogus speakers... oh nos http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5826767278&sspagename=ADME%3AL%3ARTQ%3ACA%3A1&rd=1
  12. I heard these speakers are supposidly magnetically shielded, Well, I upgraded my sats from PM 5.1 Ultras sats to RSX-5's, and when placed rite near my screen, they cause color distortion, etc. The old sats do not do this. They are fine if they are like 6 inches away. I got these sats brand new off Ebay, apparantly they are not bstock or clones... is this magnetic shielding only partial... can any RSX owners testify? I suppose if the magnet is big enough it would bleed threw the speakers anyway arent I right? Or did I just get ripped off..
  13. Cmon Klipsch... If you have to charge more for them
  14. Seriously.. Klipsch. I need 16 SWS's. :/
