Long Cool Woman has a lil bckstory for me anyway. The local FM station started having a football scoreboard show on Friday nights after the games back in the day. Just a phoneboard for scores and comments. I was asked about a catch song for the intro. Shall we say nailed? The phone board is still using the song on both Friday and Saturday nights 50 years later. It's one of the best sports scoreboards in North Central Ohio. As soon as people hear the song after the games they grab their cells and blow for 2 hours. lol Always nice to upstage the wire services for sports scores That's why it stood alone in the post. Alllllll it took was once! @Full Range Those two and "Destroyer?" Just crazy good ole tunes!

Talked w/@JohnJ for a couple tonite after his road trip to the storage lockers. He's got what he had there in his place but more to come. Gonna hit the bed tonight at his place and back on the boxes & sortin tomorrow. @grasshopper he told me to tell ya he's fillin his doghouse full of cardboard boxes. He'll be round like a donut when he's ready so there's that update. Temps dropping this week in Duckburg with nothing else to report! lol Carry on!

Welllllll, I had both of my daughters here today and they said everything is fine w/the fridge and to not worry about it. 😂 Thing's running 24/7 so I'll start nosin tomorrow. No ice and the freezer contents are now in the chest freezer in the garage "just in case." 😂 Suppiosed to drop this week into the 30'si so no hurry. This teachin of the youngin's is funny. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt AND the bumper sticker but I'll listen. hahaha

Crazy. Slipped out today and picked up a fifth of Johnny Walker Black label on sale @ the liquor store, which is nuts. Don't drink just hoard Scotch and Whiskey. This month it's been Single Barrel whiskey's every Saturday. Some semi-decent brands are showing up but I'm clueless as to what to buy. Some 350-400 range but it's gone in a heartbeat and only shows up in select stores on short email notice. I'm waiting on the bottle lottery drawing, which is 1 bottle per person who signed up for it in a state-wide drawing. THAT's the killer deal. ALL top shelf at regular prices that you NEVER seen in ANY stores so it's pretty much like a unicorn hunt. Fingers are crossed cause I entered all 15 draws so we'll see. A local kid won a Xmas basket FULL of top shelf stuff last year. 1 draw state-wide for it and FREE is always good. Needless to say he and his friends drank every bit of it and didn't even invite me over. I counted 11 empty bottles laying in a pile and it was all to die for. He just HAD to post a pic on fb. Grrrrrrr... Wimmen out @ Christmas? I buckle up, put my helmet on, look 6 ways twice before EVER moving the car. That's the way I roll til 2 weeks into January. Wimmen will run you over around here cause every one of them is on a mission from God. Preservation of Species Version 1.0.

Ok, anyone else see that big deer in @JohnJ's pic? Bwa ha ha ha! 😂 Some nice shots there @Islander I did about 80% of my shooting in B&W back in the day. Sooo much easier to work with in the lab than C-41. Lost a SI cover shot the year of the Ohio State - Indiana 2OT hoops win in Cbus because it wasn't in color. Every big gun on the planet was there including SI and they ALL missed the winner. Was truly a hoot cause I was the only one to nail it and they couldn't figure out HOW I knew the ball was going where it did. They ALL thought Jim Jackson was gonna take the final shot. I just told 'em ya have to listen and stand by what He tells you to do. That's exactly what I did that day. Did make 1k from a magazine on it though.

Left it outside didn't ya? Bah Humbug! Meanie! The grass is white here this morning. Not much accumulation, just white. A balmy 26 the puter says. lol Oldest borrowed my car over the weekend since her SUV was making funny noises somewhere in the back end. Fast forward to 1PM yesterday and a call wondering what was going on with it. Basically nothing they were waiting on a friend to take a look at it and he was busy for most of the week. Seriously? I'm grounded? lol Made a call to my pit crew after and they said they'd try to work it in for me so maybe Tuesday. Picked her up and dropped hers off. 1:45 they called and said it was a rear wheel bearing. Walked out to the garage and got into my "retirement" box of tapered roller bearings and took them one and hung out shootin the bull. Yup, replaced Japanese junk. Went to pick her up so they dumped the oil & filters. She picked the grands up from school @3. Not a bad day and the kid is still wondering how I pulled it off for $100. 😂 Welcome to Duckburg kiddo and you're learnin.
