It works on all kinds of plants. 😂 I think the bulk of it's finally gone here in Duckburg. Robin Hood finally got his place done again yesterday while I was out running. Things looked pretty good here on Sunday and the rain came in overnight Still a lot up in the trees at his place so maybe another trip around the barn for me and maybe not The down side is they won't p;ick them up in the spring. Yea, they all blow my way! That was Sunday morning. 5. Well, I wasn't really shaking in disbelief but I will openly admit I'd had enough and NEEDED a smoke at that ;point in time! lol Well, on second thought, kinda maybe. Leaning on that wall talking to Neil and getting that full back massage didn't help things. Thanks again! 💪 😂

  9. Agree totally @mikebse2a3. The R&D of great things like this take some time. We all should just sit back and wait while things marinate just a bit more. We're blessed to know it's coming down the road. Simple. I've gotta get started working on a name too. 😂💪
  10. Breaking out of Ann Arbor - Michigan football fires linebackers coach Chris Partridge Tony Garcia Detroit Free Press View Comments 0:29 1:06 Michigan football has fired linebackers coach Chris Partridge, the program announced in a statement Friday morning. "Effective today, Chris Partridge has been relieved of his duties as a member of the Michigan Football staff," read a message from team spokesman Dave Ablauf. "Rick Minter will serve as the team’s linebackers coach." Partridge is in his fifth year as a member of U-M's coaching staff overall; he was brought back Feb. 8 to begin his second tenure with the Wolverines when he was hired to coach the linebackers. Partridge previously served as the team's special teams coordinator for four seasons (2016-19), before he became defensive coordinator at Ole Miss for three seasons (2020-22). TRENDING:Michigan accepting Jim Harbaugh's suspension leaves more questions than answers Rick Minter is a longtime coach at Cincinnati (1994-2003) and father of defensive coordinator Jesse Minter. He has served as a defensive analyst for the Wolverines since 2022. Partridge is the second staffer to leave his position in the past few weeks, after off-field analyst Connor Stalions resigned Nov. 3 following evidence he ran an illegal sign-stealing scheme. The NCAA's investigation is ongoing. Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has been suspended for the final three games of the regular season as overseer of the program. The university and Harbaugh on Thursday did a 180 and agreed to accept the ban, one day before a scheduled court hearing where U-M hoped to receive a temporary restraining order against the Big Ten for its suspension, which would have allowed Harbaugh to coach against Maryland on Saturday and Ohio State a week later to close the regular season. READ MORE:Jim Harbaugh has the chance to step up and teach us all a lesson while suspended FWIW: Firing an assistant coach of a 10-0 team during the season is unheard of in college football. Obviously this has to be related to the sign stealing investigation.
  11. Ha! Duckburg! Got a day off from leaf duty but the downside of that is the rains rolled in over night and wiped things out. Sherwood Forest took a major hit and what didn't land in there wound up in my front yard ahhhhgain. Bakcyard is the same way from the kid next door's two big oaks. Temps dropping so when things dry out I'm hittin my place one last time. Maybe. 😂 Band has a gig tonite downtown at the good ole Moose Lodge so that place should be packed. It's fairly new and they do weekend dinners so it should be packed. Think I'll blow it off. Grandson has hoops practice so I'm the designated driver Mom and Dad are bowling so might have to pick him up too. That's enough runnin for me. Think I'm gonna unzip a few new lp's outta the pile and give 'em a listen this afternoon. Add some dishes and a load of laundry to the mix so I'll be good to go. The 5# ham is ordered from John's favorite market for Thanksgiving and I'm ready for bean soup w/the leftovers. Nuttin on the planet better than watchin the OSU/❌ichigan game with a big ole bowl full loaded up w/ @oldtimer hot sauce.
  12. @JohnJ That's just temporary to appease the other B1G teams. The funny thing about it all blue said they weren't going to press the issue with a fight over a temporary restraining order. They just said they'd honor the 3 game ban since it could hurt recruiting. They no more than said that and the B1G AND the NCAA made statements that there WOULD be more coming and that the suspension in no way meant it was concluded. The word I got last night was that the NCAA is talking about forfeiture of ALL games in the 2022 and 23 seasons. Possibly games from the 2021 season too. Stalions was on staff both of those years. In 2021 he wasn't on staff but it's entirely possible he was proving to UofM that his system could work. Can take that fwiw . I look for Harbs to quit after the season but that's nothing new since he has his eye on the Head Coaching job for the Chicago Bears. With all of the blowback coming he'd have a hard time landing an NFL job again. Ya have to remember he was the head coach for the San Fran 49er's prior to taking the job @ U of M. Additionally, with his brother John coaching the Ravens he could find something somewhere. John has publically stated he didn't see much wrong w/what Jim has done. It'll sort in time.
  13. Raining here so no leaf detail. Think I'm gonna jump on this pile of new stuff laying here.
  14. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ what's next? lol
  15. @Ponch0069 Here I go outside the box again. Since it's almost Xmas maybe one lucky Museum member... That lil boom box w/a pair of sumpin? Since we don't need a new car maybe sumpin else to drive??? Oprah ain't got nuttin on us! 😂 One can always troll Indy and maybe get a bite? 😂😂 Ok, I'm back in the box. Carry on.
  16. Breaking news! Ann Arbor, Michigan: The U of M has agreed this afternoon to accept the B1G's 3 game suspension of Head Coach Jim Harbaugh. Shortly after the agreement by the U of M the B1G stated that the suspension does NOT close the case against Michigan from either the B1G OR the NCAA. This means there could possibly be more repercussions for the U of M. Then there was YESTERDAY! ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Connor Stalions, the former Michigan staffer at the center of sign-stealing investigation by the NCAA, did not file any expense reports during the 17 months he was formally employed by the football program, according to the school. The Associated Press filed a Freedom of Information Act request for Stalions’ expense reports while he was employed from May 2022 through Nov. 3, 2023. There are no responsive records, Patricia Sellinger, chief freedom of information officer at the school, replied in an email sent Wednesday. The NCAA has documented plans and budget information outlining the scouting scheme of Michigan opponents and the Big Ten said has received those materials. The NCAA also shared evidence with the Big Ten and the university that showed Stalions purchased tickets to games and had people sit in those seats to obtain video of the sideline signals. MICHIGAN INVESTIGATION John Harbaugh sticks up for his brother amid investigation: ‘They don’t have anything of substance’ Jim Harbaugh says Sherrone Moore will lead Michigan if a judge doesn’t rule in school’s favor Michigan vs. Everybody becomes Wolverines’ mantra as Jim Harbaugh suspended for sign-stealing saga Jim Harbaugh was suspended for the final three games of the regular season by the Big Ten, which said it didn’t have evidence that the coach knew about the scheme. He missed last week’s win over then-No. 9 Penn State. A judge scheduled a hearing for Friday to hear the school’s attempt to at least temporarily lift the Big Ten’s penalty and allow Harbaugh to coach the second-ranked Wolverines (10-0, 7-0 Big Ten, No. 3 CFP) against Maryland (6-4, 3-4) on Saturday and against rival Ohio State next week. Stalions had been employed by Michigan as a recruiting analyst an annual salary of approximately $55,000. He resigned earlier this month, two weeks after he was suspended by the university when the NCAA and Big Ten Conference acknowledged the school was being investigated. The NCAA does not not directly ban the stealing of signs, but there are rules against using electronic equipment to record an opponent’s signals and in-person, advanced scouting of future opponents in season. There are also rules against unsportsmanlike or unethical activities by coaches. Stalions, who has been identified on social media accounts as a graduate of the Naval Academy and a longtime Michigan football fan, has not commented publicly. He said through his lawyer that neither Harbaugh nor any member of his coaching staff told anyone to break any rules or were aware of improper conduct when it came to scouting. Harbaugh has denied knowledge of any alleged scouting scheme in his program.
  17. Change jup in this weeks NCAA College Football rankings. 18. Well that's a fact w/you. Alas, that slippery slope you were talking about a few years ago w/me. lol Today, it's about simplicity with so many players in the game. It's a win/win for everyone who truly enjoys Klipsch. I'm sure they could have taken the easy way out with a one-driver fits all version but knowing the Chief it was his way or the highway. When you're ready to relax ya just power up and take a ride w/the bonehead. He's got ya! Kinda maybe.
  19. Is this the point where you "go big or go home?" Asking for a friend. 😂
  20. Nice read and thanks to everyone for the input and thoughts. In today's marketplace it's always nice to see a major player recognize something and creating a "fix" for the problem. Those serious about their systems will be all over a matching Klipsch sub to go with the rest of the Heritage line or whatever they're running. It keeps that system "clean" with even more matching components for the consumers. Hats off to the Chief and all of those "out of the box" who helped solve a known problem to many "Klipschheads." Ya hit another one outta the park!
  21. Never thought of a bandshell @billybob but you could be onto something. Got my mugga and loading up. About 64 today "they" say and the suns out so you know where I'm heading. Kid next door put his Xmas Santa blow up and the Christmas lights on his house so tht tell ya anything? He hasn't raked a leaf out for the city boys this year. Two big maples out front and 2 40' oaks out back headed my way. Robin Hood across the street has 7 40' oaks and a hickory tree that are half off. Not looking good for the home team. Thinking about going stealth mode and taking my trusty old Randall Model 1 knife to Santa next door. Then calling the tree guys to drop some of the oaks while Robin Hood is down in Panama this winter. Twenty years here and they're still untouched and growing. Astroturf? Maybe I can find a place in Virginia like some other lucky dude I know.
  22. @Travis In Austin Harbs was Bo's starting QB as well as Brady. Jim's dad Jack grew up 11 miles from me and was a great baller. Jack coached college football after a stellar local high school career. Then was Bo's Defensive linebacker coach for 10 years or so. John, Jim's brother, is the Head Coach of the Ravens. Joani, their sister is married to Toam Crean the former IU hoops coach. So ya wanna go a lil bit deeper into my local boys? Hit Mike & Mark Gottfried and Gates Brown and you've got a wrecking crew. Eyeball em on wiki. The last time I got together with them all was at a wake for Gates held in Crestline, Ohio. Gates passed from diabetes and his sister worked for me so I got an invite to come over. Gates never really had much money but he spent his entire 12-year MLB career playing for the Detroit Tigers so the fund raising auction we had was just crazy nuts. Tom Brady game worn helmets signed, pics, card, jerseys, Michigian stuff, ESPN stuff just tons of everything and we made close to 50k$ for Gates sister and family to help w/expenses. This was in 2013 when Jimbo left San Francisco and took the Head Coaching job @ Michigan. His dad and I were just shooting the bull and outta no where I asked him when Jim was gonna announce he took the Michigan job? I really didn't have a clue but figured Michigan would be looking that year. Jack never said a word because his face told the story. lolol EVERY pro baller has a story (the youtube version) and here's one from Gates I'll never forget.
  23. @grasshopper all those trees in the background you won't even SEE the house next spring. They'll allllllll blow down hill. He just didn't think of that yet.
