  5. Back from 3 days w/the grands at their house while my daughter and live-in are at some National bowling tourney in Vegas til Sunday. Got relieved @ noon by PBH aka the Psycho _*T(# from H3ll. Needlesss to say, they were on auto-pilot til she rolled in. My Grandson was up @7 playing Fortnite and my grandaughter still checkin her eyelides for holes when I left. Woke up every morning covered in cat hair from the couch. Yuk! Survived it though. Lil bit of rain so far today. Clueless as to any news since they run Roku or something. I feel your pain @MicroMara the entire family sits in front of the puter 24/7. Wild!
  6. Gearing up? Kinda maybe. He's got the total package workin for sure. Then this guy. About the most down to earth guy you'd ever want to meet. https://cb3music.com/bio/
  7. @grasshopper My outlaws had a couple McD''s a couple Taco Bell's then bought 2 bowling alley's cause they liked to bowl. Yea, waaaay too much $$$. Ole Fred had those lanes here in town dialed in. He'd be out front shootin the bull and know when something was gonna happen EVERY time and off he went. As a kid he used to hang w/George Roeder and help keep his flat track bikes tweeked along with his main man Dick Taylor. I had an old Sportster I picked up cheap and he HAD to go over it completely. Free is always good but when he was done I had to cough up a couple hundred for his time. He had that thing in pieces and was like a lil kid at Christmas playin with it. It ran like a raped ape when he was done w/it. Wound up selling it when my girls were born. Kept having this vision of them and hot pipes. Regretted it but made bucu bucks on the deal. Fred passed a few years ago so my oldest daughter and I went to calling hours. There he was holding his old H-D coffee mug that was ALWAYS full 24/7. Always thought you two had a lot in common, just no sarong or long hair. He was just like the Fonz. Slicked back with some great comments and a full mugga! ALWAYS! So there's that.

  10. You heard a cricket? I hadn't heard a bird chirp until after I got my hearing aids. Prolly 50 years. Today, I can hear a mouse fart. Those that don't, really should take care of their hearing. All quiet here in the hood but the phone's been blowin up alllll darn day. So much for a quiet day. Rain coming up this way tonight so who knows what may happen. Blah. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  11. Hey George... Give it a lil bit of this will ya? He's thunkin I can hear it!

  13. @billybob good eye there my friend! ๐Ÿ˜‚
  14. @AndreG. I had a 1229 in my first system and paid the big bucks for it. Sounded great til I took a tech's advice and bought his Linn. Entirely different world after that. I tracked him down 6-8 years ago and the first question he asked was, "Still running the Linn?" ๐Ÿ˜‚

    What I Got Today!

@Gilbert there always comes a time when ya gotta "animal up!" Glad you enjoyed the show! That's why I gave ya a laff on your comment. There are times in today's world when ya have to have that designated driver!
  17. Happy Birthday @JohnJ
  18. It'll sort. Tragic anyway ya look at it.
  19. Happy Birthday @JohnJ! Might thing twice about that ice cream since it's Father's day but since it's your birthday just go to the head of the line and pull rank! "It's Father's day AND my Birthday so stand aside." ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'd also like to wish all the other Father's out there a Happy Father's Day even though Wal-Mart has bundles of 5 Father's day cards on sale. Food for thought and maybe even a laff. Enjoy it!
  20. @Deang He'll be around I'm sure @CopperCone. He's a busy man and darn good!
  21. Yup, Neil Young is cashin in there's no doubt about that after seeing all his releases of late but this one I almost had to pick up. Him with Crazy Horse. The lp is comprised of Ralph Molina, Billy Talbot and Nils Lofgren and was talked about a year ago. It dropped and I snagged it and today there it was in a pile. Stellar? Not by any means if Amazon is selling them for $15 but in the same token there are a few good tunes. Neil is Neil so there's that. Just another one that'll wind up w/a saw cut in the corner at some point. May as well wait. lol Some great passages and guitar work though.
  22. Hola Senor Lopez how bout some Miles Davis Quintet for ya @KROCK ? Mah foots a goin and it's cranked. Workin with the Miles Davis Quintet" has got such a groove goin right now. The hood prolly thinks I'm nuts but it's a cookin in a VERY good way! Workin' with the Miles Davis Quintet is a studio album by the Miles Davis quintet recorded in 1956 and released circa January 1960.[1][2][3][4] Two sessions on May 11, 1956, and October 26 in the same year resulted in four albumsโ€”this one, Relaxin' with the Miles Davis Quintet, Steamin' with the Miles Davis Quintet and Cookin' with the Miles Davis Quintet. Youtube it urself! Goals! Gotta have goals! Pretty darn good! ๐Ÿ˜‚
  23. Ok, all you Hackett heads I just unzipped this one and was kinda amazed in a good way. It's starts dark w/a heavy bass load then sides 3 and 4 he comes alive. Pricey @45 but I'd do it again. First time ever on vinyl for this 1999 studio album from the legendary artist is says. Includes 3 bonus tracks. fwiw. Hope the neighbors enjoyed as much as I did! Darktown is the 14th studio album from British Musician Steve Hackett, released in 1999. It was reissued in 2013 with 3 bonus tracks. On some copies of this reissue, the title was misspelled as "Darktwon" on the sides of the CD case. Darktown is the last album to feature Julian Colbeck as a keyboardist, on the title track only. Colbeck had played with Hackett for much of the 1990s. Darktown shows the increasing role that Roger King would play as a part of Hackett's band, as a producer and keyboardist and later as a co-writer. You want it hit youtube I took the day off remember? ๐Ÿ˜‚
  24. Like I said yesterday you're a sneaky one!
