  1. I updated the K400 horn to Volti's 2" horn with BMS 4592 drivers. Big jump in sound quality. Expensive..
  2. Thanks for the input. HF and LF are gonna go. They won't fit in my MC helmet.
  3. Equalizer APO did the trick. Using Peace extension. Steve- I didn't find how switch presets relating to the eq presets in the manual. Do you know what page it's on?
  4. Check with Greg, he might buy them back from you. I sent him mine and he gave me credit on BMS drivers I purchased from him. Worked out to be a $100 discount from the distributors price. Worth a try!
  5. I've modded my Klipschorns and have some spare parts for sale. A pair of AK2 crossovers with bass bin caps and choke. Asking $100 plus shipping. Regards, Rick
  6. I'll post them. What do you think they are worth? They are AK2s
  7. I have the factory crossovers. Not using them.
  8. Sometimes I use J.River to listen to a couple of albums that are not on Tidal. Not often.
  9. The RME does use asio I installed the latest firmware. There is no way to change RME EQ settings via windows. I checked with RME.
  10. I've got my system sounding pretty good (at least to me) but I'd like to go one step further. I am using Tidal with an RME ADI-2 Dac. My music server is a Win10 Laptop that I remote control with RDP. My Khorns have been modded with ALK's ESS crossovers, BMS drivers, wood horns, DE-120 tweeter drivers. McIntosh MA-352 integrated amp. All is good except I have to get up and change the EQ on the dac occasionally to get some tracks sounding like they should. For instance I like Emmy Lou Harris how ever her voice comes on to strong in the mid-range. I'd like to have an equalizer on the server that I could use to alter the sound a bit remotely. I am still experimenting with the settings on Al's crossovers but I think that their will always be the need for minor adjustments. Appreciate any input.
  11. I wanted a Tuono bad but the dealership closed down. The nearest dealer now is in Savannah. Nearly 5 hours from me. I considered a BMW S1000R but I found a deal on the Yamaha and read alot of good things about it. I bought a '74 R75/6 back in 1982 and sold it in 2015 with almost 200,000 miles on it. I put a set of pistons in it and just about every other part on the bike, but it was reliable. I have a 2008 BMW R1200R, I picked it up in 2015 as a project bike. It had 15,000 miles on it and was not running well, was using oil and had a bad abs unit. I changed the oil every 1000 miles until the oil came out clear. Eventually it stopped smoking. Now it's a very reliable bike, with 35,000 miles on it.
  12. That is how my Yamaha MT-10 is. Easy to power wheelie in third gear. Throttle is very twitchy. Fixin to correct that by having the ECU flashed. Then a new suspension. It's a 2020 and the factory suspension is crap. Almost became one of those crosses in Geezin's photo. Almost had my helmet scrapin the pavement I was leaning so far over to get control of the bike in a tight switchback on a road I've ridden my BMW many times at a faster pace.
  13. Flat Track Racing was done primarly with Harleys on a modified frame. I used to live in Southern Illinois and there was a track not far from where I lived. Dangerous sport.
  14. My MT-10 has "Ram Air" on both sides of the tank. Both fake. As is the gas tank. Tank is more like a gas can buried under metal and plastic. Bike is a ***** to work on. My BMW is the opposite, easy to maintain
  15. Late is better than never. I was newbie programmer back then. Was wondering why you would be using frames in 2021.
  16. I have an RME ADI DAC2 that has 20 presets for a 5 band equalizer. It allows for amplitude and width of each band. The problem is that I find myself getting up and changing the settings because a track does not sound quite right with the current track and I don't remember what preset to use. I am using a Windows notebook and Tidal as my music server. I see that there are Windows based equalizers out there, some free some not. I'm thinking that I can adjust EQ using Remote Desktop. Any thoughts or recommendations? thanks,
  17. Question is: how can it handle in a legs forward position and raked front fork? It's a city cruiser.
  18. Those straight pipes are actually rockets.
  19. Haven't heard of black bears bothering people in the southeast. Couple and their dog attacked by bear on Blue Ridge Parkway
  20. I think you need to consider each frame as a separate page.
