Actually, if those are the fiberglass coated ones, I don't think the fiberlgassed portion is painted. Looking at mine out in the sunlight with a magnifying glass, it appears to be clear fiberglass resin with black threads embedded. I used Duratex on the doghouse.

I'm getting rid of some of my stuff that I don't seem to be using. I've got a pair of 84 Heresy's for sale: raw birch cabs, E2 networks, K-22-Ks, K-53s, K-77 sq mags. Caps have been updated with JEMs and 5-way binding posts installed. Serial #s are non-sequential, but cabs were made one week apart. Cabinets and grills are looking a little tired, but the speakers sound oh so pleasant!

Wow, someone better grab these quick.

Although a ”silver” horn would probably look pretty good in them. IMO.
I thought so, too. The aluminum SMAHL definitely does. I picked up a can of "chrome" colored rattlecan paint to test. It doesn't look like chrome, but it does look like the original color of the corner bumpers @OO1 mentioned above so I used it to paint the ones on mine...they're not going to be be touring anymore so paint is fine, looks great and is waaay cheaper than nickel plating. I ended up doing my horns flat black and am quite happy with that.

Absolutely. But being a McLaren and a Klipsch fan, I like 'em. Somebody buy me a pair.

Is just my imagination or is the “decorative” addition crooked? It appears to these old eyes to be slightly rotated counterclockwise so as to not be plumb and parallel to the sides of the Khorn.
My first thought was that it looks like something the toddler did.

As an ex motorcycle roadracer, I agree. It's fun being a bullet, but cornerspeed and late braking is what gets the heart rate up!

Yeah, when I bought my small acerage years ago, I knew I needed some sort of small tractor. Bought a used Kubota BX-24 that has front-end loader and detachable backhoe. Best money I ever spent. I've dug drainage lines, installed septic lines, dug foundation for my shop building, dug tree stumps, bushhogged, installed french drains and hauled all manner of stuff with the loader. It's not terrible to work on and seems reliable as a rock. I've had it for 10 years and could get most of my investment back if I sold it. Crazy.

I've been using the plumber's Goop. Wonder if there's actually any difference between it and the household variety?

It has lots of high-speed sweepers and has recently been repaved. It also has a good long back straight and is possibly my favourite track. I raced three 5-Hour endurance races there in the Seventies and two 24-Hours there in the Eighties, as well as some sprint races, and enjoyed every lap, even the ones in the rain and the dark.
I've never done NL, but raced sprints and endurance in WERA, so I've had my share of no speed limit fun. Road Atlanta probably my favorite track to race on, followed by Barber.

Here's my Dragon video. The 1st 6min or so are kinda dull until I decided to go play with our friend in the vette. He was gonna let me by, but it's more fun chasing.

Thanks, I was thinking of one of the Crowns. Ive never used miniDSP or REW so will have to learn about those. Almost finished with the cabinets; still have to paint and install drivers.

I'm finally building a couple of THTs to go with my LS industrials. This is the system that I have in my shop. The LSIs are powered by a Yamaha A-S801 integrated amp that has a single sub-out and also unused "B" set of stereo outputs. I'm looking for an amp to power the THTs and the best way to set this up. TIA.

Thanks for the tip and I will be looking into that.
Dave, Nashville Plywood has it, or at least they did a few weeks back.
