Sorry to dig up an old thread. I really love the idea of listening bars like this. Nothing helps the drinks go down better than good tunes in high fidelity. Would love to visit a place like this.

I think that's a fair price as long as everything else is in good condition. However, check with Crites to see if he's got some replacement woofers before pulling the trigger. I'm a stickler for keeping things proper to the original design. The Forte I is a fantastic sounding speaker though so even if you have to pony up a couple hundred for new replacement woofers I think it's still a great deal.

Man I like the way those grills turned out. Great idea on the coffee stain too. That African Padauk looks great, too.

I'd had good luck with Quick Roof Pro Aluminum from Amazon to damp chasiss as well as cabinet walls. Good alternative to Dynamat.

I got the same thing trying to post an introduction. Took me a while to find the 5 post minimum rule as I'm new to the forum and it's layout.

Looking for a couple of these drones to complete my Forte I. If anyone has one or a couple to offer please let me know. Alternatively if anyone knows of anywhere or anyone who has direct replacements or replicas please let me know. I am open to all options as long as they are direct size replacements and obviously tuned to the stock KD13 frequency. Thanks!, StevenZ
