  1. Cyrix7177 in the area of 1g i would stay away from 43/45 pioneer unless you are into spending more,For a very good reciever that will do all the tricks and have very well made internals go with the marantz 7200 or 8200,The only bad part with this unit it comes with a very poor layed out remote made by pronto, but you can buy a better one the marantz,Rc200 i beleive that works great with this unit. And yes denon and hk owners the marantz 8200 kicks butt.
  2. eq_shadimar if you had those bars chromed it would look better.LOL...Just kidding,I would of taken a 1/2' sheet of ply good on one side and size it for the width and depth of your TV,The front of the ply would be its resting point and the back i would of taken 1x2 ledger and screw it into the wall under the ply.As for angling the heresy i would of made a simple riser to the height you like made out of your left over 1x2 and screw it under the ply,Paint it all black to match the TV or change the finish to the cabinets and all is done and you would have nice storage on top to boot,I have done plenty like this and look more professional,
  3. Allan Songer all you need now is a nice klipsch stereo intact, and k33's under the seats,k77's in the door panels.Very nice car, never seen one here in canada,Looks like you will be spending more time in it than staying home.
  4. There should be no difference in quality or sound between the master & copy at all or even mp3 to cd's.Seems to me you are all running good burners,I use a plextor 12/10/32A and a asus 50x.I have found problems also in sound quality using a wide range of cd's.This is where quality of sound steps in,CD's are not manufactured equally. The best i have found to use is Verbatim datalifeplus, 4x-10x cdrw,These suck up every bit of info,Then i do another copy to regular 16x verbatim's.Copy all at 4x,slower the better. If you can find an external drive that reads 1x this would be even better,Give it a shot with verbatims you find more accurate recordings in your copy's.
  5. I did not start this post bragging about any money at all until this comment flashed by. * Good luck in your attempt Ry.You will need an army of powerful subs to even match the air moving prowess of all my subs. LOL Just get a few fans you'll move more air and not ruin your bank account. Now tell me who is bragging? I will end this post as of now.
  6. Ear have you found a good price on a Pioneer Elite plasma yet.Maybe I can sell you one new in a box less than you payed for it.LOL, EAR I think you should order a runco DTV-992 ultra projector that i have on order. Here EAR read ..http://www.audioreview.com/Front,Projectors/Runco,International,DTV-992/PRD_124128_2730crx.aspx

  8. Hi mike yes its a original 65 with the 427 big boy, took it over from my father and put about 20g into it,mainly the engine. My dad purchased it about 26 yrs ago from down in toledo ohio from the original owner.May be i will trade it in for some subs,LOL.Oh and you can get Psy no problem,They just like the vibes standing on idle,

  12. I would buy his corns ,but i only buy what i see and hear,Living in ontario many never even heard of klipsch so they are difficult to find and the prices are very high,Etc to order a pair of new lascala's the cheapest i have found would be $5300.00 a pair up to 6 grand,Used go any where from 2 grand to $4500.00 for a original owner spotless pair,i wish i lived in US i'd have a basement full..
  13. Of all the seperate emails i have done to members and others i am glad they will be enjoying some thing real nice for a change other than having all of denons problems,And not only denon.Pioneer has always been one step ahead of the pack when it came to a/v receivers,When they first pulled the parts out of the bag 14 yrs ago and introduced dolby prologic recievers,And now the first to introduce ultra 2,vsx 9300,vsx9500,vsx9700,This was the year i started to sell them and tearing them apart. When these were out they had far better amplification then even the 47/49 today, they were just as clean of an amp but had .005% thd,47/49 now have .05%.really unnoticable but on some speakers i can hear the dif.One other difference i see on todays and the older units,Volume on older units had more of a kick of power when you slowly turned it up,The oldy's had more reserve power also.As far as features all three came with dolby pro logic and your normal simulation sounds,9500 came in with a center channel amp out and also the 9700,9300 had outputs for running a seperate amp for a sub,It had no center channel built in,all three had the adentical amplification 125 per channel @.005%,rear channel 30 per channel,All three of these pioneers were but kicking amps and they sold thousands,And I am positive many are still enjoyed.
  14. Congrats on your new Pioneer mrt.You will be more than happy with the pioneer and the wide load of features,And hey you don't have to come back to tell us how you feel about your unit,We all know all ready. Happy new year..
  15. Thanks Ear i will check those MRS subs out,Do they have a website ?? See i told you guy's there are better subs out there,Ear is there a store where they are on display or are these custom built? What about those 30" EV in a cabinet,Any good ? Hmmm,Seems to me every time i log on, Ear has came up with some thing better for a sub,
  16. Spin i will help you out like i helped others get the 47 or 49 tx,bruinsrme went out to buy the same junk..LOL ,Spin there are reviews out there on the net,47/49 are real killers,Heres one review of this piece of S..T LOL.http://www.guidetohometheater.com/showarchives.cgi?55
  17. If you have the money go for the pioneer 47 or 49 elite,Thats all i have to say.If you order one you will have a happy new year and many to come.
  18. Guy's i think i am going to order 2 giant toilet paper tubes.LOL
  19. Thanks dean for your info,I may be wasting my coin going this route.According to many posts i have read concerning svs being so good i may go with them,I think may be i listen to ear to much about all his great subs,I think i will email svs and see what they offer best to go with lascalas,I am looking for a hard hitting reliable sub that i will feel when i am sitting on the other side of my room when i watch movies,But the sub must also play along with tunes.Dual psb's will do this but still not with a tight hard hitting thump in the gut,I know there out there but where.
  20. I made up my mind for my new dual subwoofer upgrade and will be ordering them soon unless i find some thing better 2 SuperNova's MKIV-15P.The new Revel B15 look nice to.2 of them would even look nicer hummm. Any thing better I should look at ??
  21. deang very nice heresy's you have,I be interested to buy them from you if your not to far,I need an other pair that are mint to finish off my heresy collection,I am in ontario. $450.00 sounds fare.Email me.
  22. Sorry mike i thought you were trying to kick cornwalls in the dumpster. The pick of that heresy is great isn't it.To make along story short i took a pic of these so called heresy's when i went for along drive to see these. So called heresy's were for sale for $200.00 in a local news paper. This guy actually thought he had heresy's and advertised them as a nice pair in good condition other than the tweeters maybe need replacing. They seem to me like some aftermarket brand.I took a pic for the laugh,I drove 2 F%%%in hours for this S---.
  23. Yes the jensens are nice !! May be Ear down below can tell me what the best dual subwoofers are to run.
  24. Ear i also noticed some one on this forum in one post wondering if they could see a pic of all the subs you own,I do not think they really beleive you own them all,I do not know d--ck about subs so I just follow the pack and read.I have to psb 6's now for subs and sound great but there is alot better out there i know,I try to scan out all the big problems with subs first on posts and reviews and Ear can help out with whats good and bad.Seems to me svs or HSU seem to be up front according to Ear he has tried them all.I wish I had money like Ear to try them all out,Seems to me most audio shops won't let me just try them out like Ear, especially 2 to 3 grand subs,I am saving my penny's for a dual sub upgrade and hoping that Ear can help out.One question EAR if I had 6 grand to spend on Dual subs. What would you reccommend ?? Did you have any of these you tried out to?? Thanks
