  1. I have two Bluesound node 3s (as in review below). One is white and one black. I used them about 10 hours each. I do not need two of these (although if you have multiple systems, you can control multiple streamers from one point...smart phone, tablet or computer). I paid an average of $410/ea. so I would like to sell them for. They are essentially like new w/ box, papers and accessories. Here is node 3 review: https://www.google.com/amp/www.stevehuffphoto.com/2023/04/07/the-bluesound-node-gen-3-review-stream-away/%3famp=1 The built in DAC is super too. I use one streaming through a PSE Studio SL pre to Studio V mono amps to La Scala speakers. With high resolution source such a Tidal or Amazon HD, the sound is phenomenal! Price $410.
  2. Does anyone know why they went to Celestion for tweeter? Which mid-range driver is used in the current Heritage line?
  3. Hi -- Does anyone know whether the T-35 super tweeter is now being produced for Klipsch by Dai-Ichi and being supplied by High Performance Stereo (HPS) of Henderson, NV? The following article from 2010 seems to indicate so. https://audioxpress.com/article/remembering-the-electro-voice-t35-super-tweeter As I mentioned in the previous post, HPS is utilizing Crites AG-55G mid-range drivers in their theater speakers.
  4. It is the company website and has an SSL. Here is link to front page of High Performance Stereo: https://www.hps4000.com/
  5. Hi all -- Curious as to what the connection is, if any, with Klipsch and HPS? HPS' theater system looks like a previous generation La Scala with some mods. John Allen spent a lot of money to bring back the T35 tweeter that is used in Klipsh's heritage speakers currently as well as the A-55-G Midrange Compression Drivers. https://www.hps4000.com/pages/525_.html Has anyone else used these drivers as replacements in vintage units? What have the results been? 525.pdf
  6. How do the A-55-G/2 compare to the original drivers? Trying to decide if I should swap my k-55-m on my 1997 la scalas. Is it worth the investment?
  7. Good score! They are similar to a pair I got on eBay except mine are from 1997 and therefore have AL-3 crossover. Finish and condition is very similar.....mine xame from an Indiana theater. Mine has the grill cloth over tweeter and squawker. I like mine and am sure you will like yours!
  8. Seller has good reviews. Someone get out there and check these out!
  9. Yes, the seller reposted several times on eBay. Units appeared in great shape with original documentation. Looks like it was a great buy!
  10. No affiliation. I'd check these out if I were out west....
