  1. Yup, these are the ones to have. I need to raise some cash by Friday to pay for a class to further my music career, but sooner is better. Time to let these go. I've been hanging on to them for over a decade, but when resources seem low, it's time to get resourceful, right? A search in these forums will tell you quite a bit if you're unfamiliar. I'm confident I could sell these quickly on eBay at an average $250 ea. To save the fees and time, I'll take $600 for all three and ship them securely packed via Priority Mail to the US. Add a bit for international - message me and I'll figure it out. I have tested them on a rudimentary tester, and all test above new values. I have test results that I got from the seller in Belgium, and all my tests here when going through them have correlated just fine. One has a loose base but no loss of vacuum - it just requires more care in handling. I would think that a bit of silicone or something to stabilize it would be wise, but I have not done that research. I would take less for that as a single, and would also sell just the other two as a pair. My preference is to sell them all together, but I realize three is an odd number, though singles come available from time to time to complete the quad. The tube with the loose base is #48 on the test sheet I got from the seller - this one is shown in the first 6 photos. The others are 51 and 36. You'll see his values used and everything - it's beyond my expertise. Photos: https://share.icloud.com/photos/0R7qtgO--Mznw6aLXInRsBaKQ

  6. They are the K15, loaded w 12s. Yes, the driver is angled upward.
  7. I have a somewhat local guy somewhat interested in these, will probably trade for a guitar. Figured I'd give them another poke here...
  8. got some of these sold but still plenty available for now. Weekend sales will go out Monday.
  9. I haven't been around regularly here for some years. I've bought and sold (too many) thousands of dollars of equipment through the forum. I only dropped the ball once, and made it right.
  10. Hey old friends, I have a couple dozen pulls from a 1960/1 Conn organ. Date codes on the tubes are 1960. They're dusty of course. I don't want to clean them out of concern for damaging the printing. I did one with a Qtip so I can take pictures and I knocked the 4 off the mfg code (274). It's commonly accepted (and my experience) that tubes used in this application operate like new - this was a home use organ, and when used in a tone generating circuit they are used well within their limits. Tested in a high gain guitar amp for noise and weirdness. These are great tubes. $10 each. $7.50 Priority Mail to US no matter how many you buy. Paypal or Venmo. Outside US, please pm to figure things out.

  17. Jeffrey, I appreciate you taking the time and effort to share your experience. I clicked on the asylum link. I’ve never laid ears on an A7 driven by decent much less excellent power. I’m in NY somewhat regularly and am very curious. Shooting you a message. I’m quite fond of these Unity horns. They are designed to behave like a single driver from 300ish on up. To my ears, which have also been around a few blocks, they do a great job of it. One thing I really enjoy is discovering and appreciating various methods to correct deficiencies in all kinds of technical systems. Your post piqued my interest for sure.
  18. Probably not easy to find outside of the US and Canada, but I’m working on a project with the Unity horns used in the Yorkville U15 (and U215). They are licensed under the Tom Danley Synergy patent and sound really good. They are crossed at 315Hz for pro audio use. I’m going to experiment going lower for home use. They combine a 1” exit compression driver and 3x5” cone mids on one conical 60 degree horn.
